Papa John’s Pizza

Like any other typical Papa John’s. Did an online order for delivery to my work for dinner and everything was alright. We did a special of 2 pizza with one topping plus 2 extra sides for $ 5 each (breadstick and chicken poppers). We also ordered extra sauces and added couple packets of crush pepper/​seasonings.
Order came on time with what the estimated time gave us (35min). Everything wasn’t missing and they were all still piping hot. What also top this order was the fact the our driver was very nice and courteous. Will be ordering from this place again in the future.

They do not wash their hands when making the pizza!!!
The person who was making pizza came to the front took a order, collected money and went straight back to where he left off.
Ewww!!!

I have contacted both this Papa John’s and have used their feedback form online to complain about the state of my pizza upon delivery. The cheese had completely slid off the pizza as if the bread of the pizza was a plate. I had to eat the pizza with a fork and spoon like one would if it were a pasta or soup. This was absolutely ridiculous. I am never ordering Papa John’s again. The customer service from both the website and this particular location was horrendous as well. The feedback form online mentions that they will get back to you as soon as possible but I have yet to hear from them. When I called the Marshalee Dr. location, I was put on hold as the manager was «busy» and they eventually hung up on me. This happened twice now. I’ve been a loyal customer to Papa John’s for a long time and have enjoyed them but I can get this same product elsewhere without the poor service and treatment.

So, I really love Papa Johns pizza, and I hate to give a bad review, but this particular Papa Johns is hit or miss when it comes to quality of the food – at least when it comes to their dough. My problem is that I have now 3 times gotten pizza from here with crust that is dried out, hard, and flaking and it starts getting a sour taste to it. This is not due to burning my buddy who works in a pizza place explained. This is due to the dough being old and left to sit in open air far longer than it should. I’ve never experienced this at any other Papa John’s besides this one. I’ve ordered from here maybe 8 times in the past year and ³⁄₈ times to get bad food is kind of a lot.
Their staff is friendly and the order is always quick though, which is why I gave two stars. However, I believe they are over-​prepping their dough, which is why orders come so quick. Speed at the expense of quality is not good in my opinion.

Such a good Papa Johns! Everything is standard about this pizza joint, food was good and was delivered very quickly (right across from the shop!)

This is typical Papa John’s pizza fare. The carryout only restaurant is located in the shopping center next to Hunan Express. The service is fast – expect to wait 10 – 15 minutes after placing your order for it to be ready.
We usually do delivery from this location and its always very fast. And by fast I mean like 10 – 15 minutes from the time we place the order fast.
We’ve been using coupons there and it never surprises me how many times they don’t ask for the coupon upon delivery. I try to remember and give it to them anyway, but occasionally I forget, so I have a coupon to use again. (We purchased a coupon pack that has BOGO menu item coupons in it).
They have messed up our order a few times, but thats to be expected in my opinion. No where gets everything right every time. Whenever they have messed up, they have always delivered the right pizza within 15 minutes of us calling in, and of course we get to keep the «wrong» pizza.
This is the only scary thing: one time, they delivered someone else’s pizza to us. When I opened the box and saw that the order was completely wrong, I called in. I noticed on the box the pizza had the wrong name on it. They of course sent out our correct order, but they asked if we had eaten any of the other pizza. When I said no, they asked me to keep the pizza and give it back to the driver. I really don’t know if they planned on delivering it to the right owners, but that would be pretty disgusting if they did.
