I’ve come to this store several times, but today they really went above and beyond, and I realized I had never reviewed them, so here I am. The employees have always been friendly, personable, and relatable. The store is clean, shelves are well stocked, and selection of items is great! Today, I would really give them more than 5 stars if I could. It was a very hot day, and while loading my 6 month old twins into the car, I managed to lock one in with my keys and purse. I was frantic! I ran back inside for help, and an employee named Andrea was so reassuring and quickly called the fire department to come pop my lock. Another employee(whose name I didn’t catch) ran out after us and gave me an umbrella to shade my daughter I was still holding and a couple bottles of water. Andrea stayed with me and helped keep me as calm as possible, and even offered to hold the umbrella or my daughter to give my arms a break. I know this is a «special» situation and not really a typical review, but I think their actions today speak volumes about the type of awesome employees this store has and how much they care about their customers.

The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I’m a bit confused about the organic greens all being wrapped in plastic. What’s the point of buying organic just to have the greens toxified by the plastic?

This place is such a sham. I’m so confused as to how people are taken in by it. The food is nothing different than what is available at your local stores, it is just packaged differently. I dont know what has gone on in the upper echelons of the company, but everyone seems so much more lugubrious and morose than before. I’m glad I no longer have to come here. Just an abysmal experience.

I love the price and quality of fresh fruits and vegetables in this location. They always have new surprise items which I really enjoy. It is the only main grocery store I go.

I enjoy buying new items at Trader Joes to expand my taste buds but today’s visit I purchased my faves. One being the Cowboy caviar which is basically a black bean and corn salsa. They also sell a pre-cooked grilled sliced chicken breast that is SOGOOD and great to add to pasta dish or as a main course. Oh… their prices for ghee, olive oil, coconut oil, sesame oil are much better than bigger grocery chains. TJ is not very large so that makes the shopping experience a bit annoying and I think the worst drivers in Columbia try to park in the parking lot. However, pack your patience and try one of the many unique items Trader Joe’s has to offer.

This has to be one of the best trader joe’s locations in the area. The staff here are always friendly and the shelves are usually well stocked(unless it’s a Sunday night or right before a snow storm). I haven’t been here in awhile and I forgot how much I enjoyed this location. Even though this location(how many times can I write location in one review?) is less crowded and more friendly than the Rockville location, this particular location does not have the same selection of items, which is a bummer. «Location» counter: 6

Great little market. Prices are a little higher, but it is worth it. I do the regular grocery shopping at Wegman’s then stop by Trader Joe’s for a few extra items. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about items in the store.

I love this store. The employees are extremely helpful. An employee went out of his why to locate a .99 cent item for me. The prices are reasonable. Plenty of seasonal offeeings. They always have a tasty sample. The frozen meals are delicious. The cookie butter is everything. I just love being able to purchase a brand that has no artificial colors or flavors, no preservatives, and no msg for prices I can afford.

Visited Trader Joe’s with a friend to pick up some items. They sell an extensive selection of organic, healthy items that you just won’t find in traditional grocery stores. As usual the staff are pretty awesome and they tend to have the things that l come to get in stock. The produce is always fresh. You never have to wait in long lines as they always open registers when they see the lines growing. There isn’t much else to say only that this location has great customer service and is always stocked with the items l come for. Bravo!

I love trader joes but something different happened today. Today was the first time seeing this employee who went above and beyond throughout each aisle to help customers and when he wasn’t doing that he was helping the front line cashiers. Today I had a crappy day but his energy was so amazing it changed that! His singing, his energetic compliments and sincerely caring questions. This man went above and beyond to help every customer he had seen. His name is Junior and now when I come to Trader Joes I will be sure to stay in Junior’s line for him to ring me up… there should be more people like that in this world!

A very nice Trader Joe’s location. TJ’s in general is pretty awesome. This location in in more of a residential area(less of an urban one) than most TJ’s. As such, is less crowded, is more spacious, and the clientele tend to be more at ease and polite. Service is also very polite.

I am big fan of Trader Joes. The store offers so many fabulous items. My favorite things to buy here not only for the great prices but freshness is: flowers, olive oil, cheese, produce, nuts and candy! They have a great selection and I love trying something new every time I come. I also enjoy the samples of products the knowledgable staff and clean store no matter which location I visit!

If you live or work anywhere close to Montgomery County or even NoVA you know how INSANE Trader Joe’s get. TD brings out the worst in people when they’re crowded. Lots of attitude, pushing, shoving, and overall entitlement. Even when I’m running out of my favorite staples(Petite Peas!!! Best peas ever!) I avoid, avoid, avoid and avoid going until I desperately need to. Not the case here! Tons of room, everything is in stock, no one one is bumping into you. I float around the DC-Baltimore area for work and only am in Columbia once a week or so but I’m tempted to squeeze in all my TD shopping after work when I’m in town just to avoid the Trader Joe’s in my area(I have THREE of them within 10 minutes of my home and they’re all too packed!)

This is a pretty good TJ’s. It gets a lot of traffic so sometimes the shelves are bare. You can ask the restock dudes to help you out but sometimes they’re just out of items for the day. Overall, this is a great chain with really high quality food items. I always get Greek Olive oil here & it’s the freshest ever. Truly spoils you for other places. Their prices on luxury food items — saffron and truffle oil etc… Are also very competitive. Their freezer items are particularly awesome & also in high high demand. I wish this store had a better configuration with wider aisles and more check stands. They could also use more generous shelves so they’re not running to refill these shelves constantly. I’m still giving them a solid 4 stars cause the food is fab and they’re also efficient and acceptably pleasant.

Always my go-to favorite grocery store and that’s a lot coming from someone who has five different grocery stores to choose from within a 10 mile radius. In comparison with Wegmans and Wholefoods, Trader Joe’s has the best employees, best customer service, easiest return process, yummy food samples, and overall great food selection. The other grocery stores can’t compete with Trader Joe’s pricing. There is just no way. Where else can you get veggies for under $ 2.00 and a bag of frozen chicken breasts for under $ 7.00? I go in there and fill up my entire cart each time and still have yet to go over $ 125.00. My favorite time to visit Trader Joe’s(besides every Sunday) would be FALL. They have PUMPKIN everything.

This trader joes is set up a little different than the one in Towson, so it is a little hard to find things, but their produce selection is far greater. But like any traders joes — you have a decent selection and extremely helpful staff. if you want to know what something tastes like — just ask.

Alright, clearly I’m a bit slow. I had NOIDEA that this Trader Joe’s even existed! I spend so much time in Columbia, all up and through and just. didn’t. know. DOH! Anywho, here it go. Located in the Gateway Overlook shopping center. Which houses Costco, Mimi’s, Ulta… etc. It is on the other side of the shopping center almost facing the Costco. I suppose if you are getting gas, you will see it. How I didn’t, baffles me. The parking isn’t the greatest, especially if you go on a high peak day. It is quite small for the volume of cars. The store itself is quaint, the prices aren’t as reasonable as my beloved Aldi(y’all know they are owned by the same folk), but the selection of items is much greater and so much more interesting. For example, Speculoos Cookie Butter. If they sell this anyplace else I have yet to find it. Simply ah.may.zing! Oh my gosh, I can eat it from the jar! The frozen food selection is pretty cool too. I mean where else can I get a mushroom truffle, or tomato pest pizza?! Nommers. They also have organic items, and WINE. Zing! On the day I went, there were samples of tabouli and coffee. YUM! Everything was fresh, and they had pretty nifty recipes that you could try. There are no value cards here, what you see is what you get. Customer service is great, the check out process was amazing, everything was really quick, can’t be beat. Definitely a place that will continue to get my business, you know now that I know were it is… LOL!

I love this Trader Joes! This one is neither huge or too small… its just right! There is ample parking, but beware it can get crowded since it is next to a CostCo. But once inside they offer a solid array of choices and just everything has a choice of organic vs non-organic. which is great! As most other Trader Joes, you have different sections, here it is the same. Though I found their freezer section pretty robust. My favorite part of TJ’s are the free samples! Heck these are what got me hooked on their coffee! Plus they always have someone else new to try. The staff here is great as well, always helpful and polite. This TJ’s is one of my favorites and I will def. be back!
