This is the only store I have found around here that sells exotic hardwood. That being said, you will pay a nice penny for the wood. 8⁄4 walnut 4 ft cost me over 50 bucks. They have all kinds of tools also.

I’ve been here a couple of times to purchase wood for small projects. They have a pretty nice selection of wood and all the tools you need for any project you’ve come up with. I appreciate their selection of hand carving tools as well. They get shipments of tools that are made by some knifemaker in Tennessee that I like so far. They seem to go out semi-quickly though so make sure to ask when they’ll be in! Also, they’ll honestly tell you if the wood is more expensive than usual if you ask.

I was looking for some outdoor friendly wood to refinish some chairs. I wanted to use teak, but it was quite expensive. It would have cost over$ 100 for each chair. Settled on Cypress. The store always has an event on on Saturday mornings, you can go there for free coffee and donuts. This was my second time in the store. I found their selection of wood limited and pricey. They did have some interesting tools, but no bargains. Just like going into the grocery store, I came out with quite a bit more than I originally came for.
