My Pet Store and More

Okay, from the outside, My Pet Store and More looks a little weird. Like «what is this doing in a strip mall?» and «why does the sign look kind of ghetto?» But ignore all that and go inside. It’s a wonderful, independent pet store.
All the employees there – from the owner to the cashier – have been nice and helpful. I remember one time, I picked up dog food there and as I was paying, the cashier noted that there was a small hole in the bag and went back to the aisle and got me a new bag of dog food. I mean, I could have gone and picked up the bag myself but she was insistent that she do it.
I’ve spend good amount of time talking with the owner about what treats are good and popular and such. He’s always been friendly and extremely knowledgable.
I’ve recently moved from Ellicott City to Parkville – about 45 minutes away. However, I still work in Ellicott City a few days a week. Although I’m sure my new neighborhood has some good pet stores that are closer, I still make it a point to shop here after work. The customer care and expertise of My Pet Store and More has made me a loyal customer. Highly recommended.

I love the Ellicott City store on Baltimore National Pike! The service is friendly and helpful, and the price of premium dry dog food is better than the best online prices I could find. I can always get good advice and honest answers on whether something will work or not. And if it doesn’t work or you don’t like it, the store takes it back with no problem. You couldn’t find nicer people to deal with!

This pet store is phenomenal. I have a dog with incredible allergies, and have not been able to find any food on the market that she doesn’t have at least some reaction to. When I called My Pet Store and More to ask about a specific food, the owner stayed on the phone with me for a half hour, talking to me about all my options and what he thought was best. He is 10 times more knowledgable than any vet I have talked to about nutrition. He picked a different food out for me than the one I was calling about, and after trying it for a few weeks, my dog has never felt better! Shiny coat, no scratching, and no tummy issues. So incredibly grateful for someone with this level of knowledge and the willingness to spend time with his customers… You will absolutely not be disappointed with this business

A great pet store that has a ton of products. They carry a good range of high end products that you can’t find at a grocery store or a Pet-​warehouse. The owner is incredibly nice and knows a lot about what’s on the shelves and is willing to search for what you need if he doesn’t carry it. Support your local shops!
