The General Store At Eagle Mountain

This place is tiny, the hours are limited, and the goods for sale are a bit random. But it makes up for this by being adorable, and by having quality items at excellent prices. I purchased a hand painted Christmas ornament for a few dollars.
The biscuits are great, and I suspect the rest of the deli’s BBQ and food are equally good. My family had fun playing with the store’s resident cat, Ellie Jay, who is very sweet and roams around outdoors.
This store is located inside the Coosawattee River Resort, which is a gated community. But, I believe they will let you through if you tell them you’re visiting the General Store or the Tubing Company. This place is not worth traveling out of your way, but if you are staying at the resort or passing by, I recommend stopping for a moment or two.
