The Tater Patch Farm

This place has a nice selection of fresh produce and even if you’re not there to shop you can pick a spot anywhere around the river and kickback while the kids burn some energy. Can’t wait to go back to visit their snack shack again for some awesome french fries and walnut cake.

This is a hidden gem for the whole family in Ellijay.
There is a a wonderful group of people running the farm and activities. So very ins.
You can buy produce picked that day in the open barn or pick your own if the weather is accommodating. They also have they’re version of a hay ride that’s tractor pulled. I will get picture next visit. The river runs three the property so you can pick a spot to picnic or wade in the river.
It’s beautiful to look around and lots of photo opportunities. I also feel this would be an amazing spot for plein aire painters. Pack up your easel and paint the property! I hope to do this myself when things calm down.
Take the time to drive down the road and enjoy the experience. The produce is great!
