There awsome and had wonderful experiences but there is a upper management woman that hangs around in the kids corner that could learn some new people skills. She was rude and bossy. Anyone else Ive encountered has been amazing.

Our family joined before the Y even opened and we are there a minimum of three times a week. The staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment is well maintained and plentiful. My kids don’t mind the childcare, especially when Tarana, Carol & Christina are there. The pools are top notch and my kids enjoy swimming lessons. My favorite part is the walking/running trail and group cycle classes with Jeanna. The Y is worth every penny!

Ok. I have been a member for 6 months. so I have worked up(literally) to a review! I love this place! I look forward to waking up & walking into the door everyday. The staff is super friendly & helpful. I was initially looking for a gym with a warm water pool and debated between this gym & another in the Enfield area. For the extra money, it is well worth it. The faculties are clean and well maintained. The staff took the extra time to show me around and explain all aspects of the services & amenities. The gym is newer– built in 2010 so all equipment is new. There are two pools– one 8 lane lap pool where classes are held & regular lap swimming takes place and another pool for children and rehab exercises. Everyone is welcome at both pools. The lap pool is 82 degrees average and the smaller pool is 88 degrees. If you are looking for a high impact exercise routine in a group setting, they are spread out through out the day. I was involved with Water Fitness for quite awhile, but recently started Zumba, Zumba Toning, Boot camp, & Cardio Kick/Core w/Nikki in the morning. If you are looking for a crazy, fulfilling workout, I highly recommend those classes. There are a assortment of classes as early as 5:30am and as late as 7:00pm. There are machines, weights so you can come and go as you please if the classes do not fit around your schedule. I highly recommend this gym if you are new to area. Everyone attending these classes are super friendly & make you feel welcome. A great way to make new friends!

The Indian Valley YMCA is outstanding on so many levels. Its way more than a gym. The facilities are pristine. They take incredible care to maintain the facility. Exercise classes are included in the membership and there are choices for everyone. I’m a huge fan of the spinning class on Saturday morning. Swim lessons are amazing. They are not free, but you get a discount as a member. My son has been doing them for a year and the results are remarkable. His relationship with water and waves has totally changed. The swim teachers are rare finds. There are two pools, a shallow family pool and an 8 lane Olympic pool. A family membership is above $ 90 and there are subsidies at certain income levels. It’s worth the investment in yourself and family.
