Michael J’s Deli and Subs

It’s a deli, so obviously I am not complaining here, I mean, this is to be expected at a deli… but seriously, this deli is in love with meat. I don’t think that’s a bad thing necessarily… meat is their business… but why oh why don’t you offer a veggie sub? I mean, they will make you a veggie sub but they look at you strangely when you ask for it. I don’t get it.
Other than that, this is a decent sandwich and I more or less enjoy what I get here every time I come. The egg salad is decent (and this is important since this is a food that very VERY easily botched). They offer a decent selection of your standard deli sides like chips, slaw, and potato salad. Also, you can get french fries, which I adore! There are salads and pizzas as well, so generally, everyone can find something they like. They serve breakfast as well, so you can stop in here and get filled up anytime of day.
The most disturbing thing on the menu? The Destroyer. This sandwich is layered with meat, on top of meat, on top of meat, and then served with a side of meat. I don’t think there’s a deli meat this thing misses. Obviously, I have not tried it, and even if I was a meat eater, I’d probably stay away from this little sandwich heart attack. However, I know there are plenty of people out there salivating at the mere thought of eating this thing.
