I’ve been getting my eyebrows done for as long as I can remember, always going to the mall kiosks because it was convenient. But then one time one of those girls totally jacked up my eyebrows and I decided to find a real brow expert. I found Susan on Instagram and am so glad I did. She does an excellent job, unlike anyone else I’ve ever seen. And she still prices really fair, which is the best part. She’s usually booked 2 months in advance, who else is that booked just for eyebrows? That should be clue enough that she’s the best.

Susan is legit the go to person to have your eye brows done in all of Chicago. Perfect shape every time and a huge time saver in the morning when putting on makeup. You can’t believe the difference it makes having your eyebrows perfect all the time. Trust me when I say, get the henna.

Love, love, love my results! It’s important that you book an appointment in advance, but it is so worth it! I’m never getting my eyebrows done anywhere else! Susan Rocks!

I absolute love going to Susan to have her thread my eyebrows and apply henna. She has given them the perfect shape and the henna gives them that full look that is in now. I am so happy I found her. I recommend her to everyone, she really does amazing work

I had the hardest time finding someone for my eyebrows. I was referred to Susan by one of my family friends. She is a true artist and the most honest person I know! She told me to let my eyebrows grow up and I did! She advised me on what to use to make them grow. She is a beast and is SOOO worth the wait to get in.

I fell in love with henna on my brows! It was my first time and she went very natural with them but had recommended to go bold (I have dark features), I am now addicted and will listen to her recommendation. If you haven’t tried her yet, you girls are missing out!!!

Susan is hands down the best out there. She is so polite and professional. I have gone to places where they just cancel your appointment or just close the shop suddenly and don’t say anything. Susan had an emergency and she was so kind to call everyone so they can come I later or she can schedule them in another day. I honestly love Susan. I work Monday– Friday and I have to get out of work early to go to her but let me say it is so worth it.

Love my eyebrows… I’ve been getting them done by Susan for a year now and I seriously can’t go to anyone else. she loves what she does and you can tell in her work. Make sure you book your appointments ahead of time. she’s booked till January. Thank god I have bi-​weekly appointments schedule till next year.

Susan is seriously the best! After a bad threading job at a different salon, she made my brows look better than ever. I had an appointment to just thread my brows due to the fact that I was nervous to try out the henna, but Susan explained the process to me and now I have found my new obsession! Susan has gained a new regular.

I walked in & only had to wait 5-​ish minutes. Susan did a nice job threading my brows. She didn’t ask me what I wanted & assumed (correctly) that I just wanted a clean up, but I would have preferred that she asked. It felt like the thread she was using was a lot more harsh than other places I’ve been and she went far down onto my eye lid (???), so that was a little strange. I also had a little lesion/​cut from an area that she threaded. I saw her interact with the clients before and after me and it’s clear that she knows what she’s doing & she’ll nurse your eyebrows back to beauty!

Update: I haven’t been back to this place since my last review of two stars & I probably will not for fear I might get my brows chopped off for having spoken up about my previous bad experience in regard to the owners attitude but I will say this– I give credit where credit is due & this girl is legit. I have went to four other brow experts since I saw Susan last In 2014 and her henna is BEST quality. It lasts, it doesn’t look fake, & doesn’t wash off. Lasted two weeks on me. Everyone else has lasted days. Aside from another girl I go too — Susan is 100% no doubt the best brow tint & thread I’ve ever had done. 1 star for the tude but 5 stars for the artist she is.

So I cheated on my eyebrow girls again only because Susan is closer and I went on my lunch.
Susan does great work, but the way she runs her business is something to be desired. I walked in with two other coworkers because she takes walk-​ins Monday– Wednesday from 11 – 2. Only thing is she also takes appointments during that time frame. Everybody ends up waiting then. Due to this factor only 1 of us (me) were able to get our brows done. And it took the entire hour and it was only myself who ended up getting my brows done. If you have that time for walk-​ins I felt that only walk ins should be taken at that time. If I had an appointment and to wait be of a walk-​in of be kind of upset. I probably won’t be back, but never say never. She does do really great work.

I wish I had before and after pics to show her awesome work… She keeps the brows classy! I have never had my brows done but they were out of control and had no shape. I was nervous that someone might make my brows too thin. After looking around, I found brows by Susan. Her photos online and reviews are legit. She’s fast but very informative about maintaining brows. I’m now a life customer.

Thought this was a painless experience. She is quick and talented and I really liked that I was not swollen and irritated after I left. Would highly recommend her.

I have never EVER been more obsessed with someone like I am with Susan. I drive an hour each way just to have her do my eyebrows. She’s amazingly clean and beyond talented. My hats go off to you Susan. You are the best.
Oh and that whole henna talk. DO IT. I was scared but HOLY COW did that make a world of a difference.

I booked an appointment online which Susan recommends appointment only. I loved that even before going I had an appointment reminder the day before via text. Loved this feature. Plenty of parking in back of the salon. Or plenty of street parking. Susan is great! The appointment was very relaxing and the result was awesome. Really liking the new shape and henna coloring that I got done. Her salon is very clean, super cute décor! Cannot beat this for service and price! Easy 5 stars!
