This place is ok for lunch. Its decently priced and the selection is good. Try the roti cannai for appetizers. I used to come here more but I feel the food quality has deteriorated in the past year or so.

I like their tender grilled pork chop and pineapple fried rice! Reasonably priced too.

This is a neighborhood staple which we have been going to for over 20 years through all the ownership changes. The quality has been dropping off for the last two years in terms of the food and the service but the last 2 visits were awful. Last month we found they had lost their liquor license and we couldn’t get a glass of wine to have with our dinner. As it was a friend’s birthday, I went next door and got a bottle of champagne. At the end of the dinner they wanted to charge a corking fee even though they did not even attempt to open, serve the wine or even bring an ice bucket or even provide glasses! The service was more than usually bad. We had to ask no less than three times for water and some empty glasses and napkins and they totally ignored us most of the evening. A few weeks later we came back, stupidly(yes because we left good tips both times) and even though there were only 3 occupied tables, It took over 20 minutes to get my dish. My husband waited even longer to get his appetizer and main course. The mee goreng tasted like it was stir fried in srichara sauce without any subtlety or other flavorings. It was a one note, fiery, inedible mess. We had to order another noodle dish which was better but had to pay for both because«mee goreng suppose to be spicy.» A plate of poorly prepared noodles with 6 thin pieces of pork and scallions cost them very little to make but they obviously don’t care about customer service. They did not clear any of the dirty dishes either so we were sitting elbow deep in them while trying to settle the check. Will not be coming back. They don’t give a damn.

I like how quick they make their food. Went here to order pad Thai on my way to the airport

Came in to try their Hainanese chicken rice. Sadly, it was a little flavorless, was accompanied by a weird sweet-and-sour chili sauce, and with chicken rice that was unexpectedly underwhelming. On the whole, the menu and prices look ok. Will give it a couple more chances to check out more dishes. But this is not where one can get a Hainanese chicken craving satisfied.

The Roti Canai was great The Haininese Chicken was okay… not much flavor and the pieces was real boney Didn’t really like the chicken flavored rice… it just tasted like soggy oily rice Prices were good. cheap but I rather have better quality food

Coco is one of my favorite restaurants! Love most of their food ! Seafood Crispy noodle is really yummy ! House special tofu is the greatest one ! And I like Sambal Fish Fillet, crispy pork belly, Lady finger in Belacan sauce. All have greatest taste & not greasy ! My favorite is Soft Shell Crab with Salt & Pepper. I used to live one block away from COCO& I had tried most of their dishes ! This is the best Asian Fusion restaurant! That’s all I can say ! If you never been Coco yet, you should come and try ! Oh don’t forget to try their Roti Cani as appetizer & rainbow ice & fried banana as Desserts ! Actually I have many more to say ! Will continue soon

Don’t know why my dad decided to come back again to order take out without me knowing. But he did! And of course Coco doesn’t fail to disappoint. Picture of raw hainese chicken and the sad ho fun accompaniment to the dish. The quart container was full of starchy sauce and the ho fun noodle looks like it was eaten from. DONOTGOHERE.

This may not be my go-to place for Malaysian but it does the job. I usually only come here for their Sizzling Bean Curd and roti canai. Their roti canai is slightly spicier and appears redder than Taste Good’s. The Chinese broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly was disappointing for 2 reasons: pork belly was not crispy and the flavor was not up to par. The service was attentive and friendly. When the server saw that our table was too small for the dishes we ordered, she asked us if we would like to move to another table which is intended to be for 4 people. I guess since the restaurant was empty for the most part(we came at around 5pm), this was feasible. I feel really good about their service so props to them. Their bathroom is kept reasonably clean as well.

Great flavors but Nasty Meat dishes. Only order vegetarian. Any meat I’ve ever gotten is VERY questionable. Greasy, sinewy, fatty. Prices are good but this is nothing special in a neighborhood that has so many restaurants like this. Also the entrance is right off Broadway with a bunch of sketchy vagrants constantly around.

great malaysian food. The deep fried snap fish– on point! The nasi goreng was great AND coconut rice was delish. I ordered a pad thai which was ehhhh. When I do go back I will just stick to the malaysian food.

Service is poor. VERY poor. The food is awesome and very good although at times it’s too oily. That girl who’s been working there before the new management took over sucks. All she cares about is getting the right tip. They actually crossed me 3 times already but I let it go because the food is good and that’s only a little thing. But now, I had enough with the bs service. They add 15% tip automatically even if it’s only 2 people. Last time I checked that is only required when it’s 5 or more people dining. Plus, they don’t even deserve the tip half the damn time! You basically have to beg for their attention there’s 4 servers but they are still slow. CHECKYOURBILL. DON’T TIPTWICE. It’s a pity when there’s potential but staff sucks.

Happy CNY with my man. Coconut curry really blowed me away. The decoration is a lil bit Chinese. Boss can speak Chinese too.

My family and I went here on a whim since we just wanted some Malaysian food. We were definitely not disappointed! This place is very authentic and the food was amazing! We ordered pineapple fried rice, a curry, and mango chicken. The curry was the one that stood out! It was just the right kind of spicy and flavoring. The other two dishes were pretty standard and nothing too special. However, the red beans ice I got was so good. I haven’t had a red Bean drink that good in a while. Then the décor was very nice for a family dinner and even a date. The price was also very reasonable! This is a place I’m definitely looking forward to come back to!

Their service and atmosphere are much better than Taste Good, but their food is less good. When I came last time, they ran out many ingredients and I had to change my order twice. At last I got Malay fried noodles, and found it a little too oily, though the flavor is OK. And this place is cash only.

Came here so many times with my friends and family. I love the new decorations of the restaurant. The service is good and the food is great. Yesterday, we ordered the Indian pancake. We loved it. I ordered the three combination with rice. The portion was a good size to eat and it had different variety. The dish had curry beef, egg and pork chop with white rice. My husband ordered the twin salted fish fried rice. Love the flavor of the rice. Portion could be a little bigger. The bowl was deceiving. Otherwise, we had a good dinner and chat.

Service is good but I was quite disappointed by the food. I’ve been to their Edison, NJ location but the menu and food is not the same. The roti canai wasn’t as crispy and the curry dipping sauce lacked flavor. The pearl noodle was good and is probably order that again if I end up here again. The hainanese chicken is also pretty decent, especially with the ginger chili sauce. The biggest disappointment was the banana leaf stingray. I was expecting the stingray to be cooked inside banana leaf. Instead, it was deep fried. Nothing like how they do it back home. Now I understand why Taste Good has more and better reviews.

Dined in here a couple of times and always started each meal off with their Roti Canai, it’s a MUST! Portion sizes are good, prices are reasonable, service is relatively quick and the staff is sweet. Dishes starting to taste the same to me though… their orange sweet and tangy sauce covers most of the food I order… but Coco still remains a solid place for me to go to when I’m hungry!

This used to be my family’s fave spot after church. I now remember why we stopped coming. Their crispy fried chicken used to be all that with garlic soy. Now it seemed to be lacking something. Roti Canai was still good as I remembered it to be. Fried roti served with curry. My fave. Seafood fried rice was good as well. Goof ball ordered their Pearl noodles. Soupy. Overall, food was good. I left full but dissatisfied. May prolly come back after church with family again.
