We offer the highest quality musical instruction for most popular instruments including guitar, voice, violin, piano, and bass. We have the best music educators available and offer instruction in different styles.

We offer guitar lessons offered in all styles for students from the age of 5 years. Lesson are offered in all playing levels.

We offer piano lessons from engaging teacher. Our piano lessons are taught on real acoustic pianos by experienced and engaging teachers.

Our voice lessons are for students ages 7 and up.

We offer a unique option of doing voice/​piano as a lesson combo. This gives vocal students the opportunity to learn to read music from an instrumental prospective.

Violin lesson are offered as young as four years old. We provide violin lessons in Sukuki and traditional styles.

We offer both electric bass lessons as well as double bass acoustic lessons.

History

Established in 2008.

The Elmhurst Music Academy opened in 2008 and is a second location for the Chicago School of Music which opened in 1998.

Business Owner

I have been playing and have been involved with music my whole life. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-​Conservatory where I studied guitar.

After teaching and performing in Chicago, I found that there was a great need for a secondary music education school that really focused on each individual student but was also not limited to one particular style. I started the Chicago School of Music with idea the learning music can and should embody basic fundamentals but it can also be fun.

Our business model and philosophy have successfully enabled us to open our second location in Elmhurst in 2008.
