Of course I was not their client. Tom continued to find other buyers even after we had a contract. It cost me over a thousand dollars for inspection and loan processing, which were all completed. We had to start all over again. Kids were de-​enrolled from school!!!
He had the audacity to tell our agent to bid on his other listings. We refused.

Tom helped us buy our house back in 2006 and then sell it in 2015 and we cannot thank him enough on both transactions. I’d put him up against anyone in Elmhurst as far as knowing the market and guiding someone through the purchase/​sale of a home. He helped us sell our house for more than $ 100k than what Redfin wanted to list our house. I was actually the seller on the deal for the one bad review here and it is actually a good example of why we were thankful Tom was representing us. He helped guide us away from that buyer as their agent was pushy and not easy to deal with. When they didn’t meet the deadline for their inspection report, we saw it as an opportunity (both legal and ethical) to terminate that deal. It was their own fault the deal didn’t go through. Fortunately, we had another buyer ready to make the deal happen, which went smoothly. With Tom’s guidance, he helped us avoid unnecessary headache and stress, plus we sold it for more money. Since we bought the house in 2006, Tom has teamed up with Maria Gracik, who adds even more expertise in the Elmhurst area. They are a great team and we give them our highest recommendation.
