I wouldn’t even dream of looking anywhere else for all of my tailoring needs, even if it was free. Countless suits have seen Jolanda, and they have all been done to perfection making me look like I may know something about how my clothes should fit.

Jolanta literally saved my wedding dress! I spent over $ 300 getting alterations done by someone who completely messed up the skirt of my dress. My wedding was less than two months away, and Jolanta fixed everything and made the dress even better than it was originally! I cried tears of joy I was so thankful for what she did! I live in the city and would drive to Elmhurst any day — she’s well worth it! Highly recommended!

Jolanda did such wonderful work on my wedding gown! It fit beautifully and had the most gorgeous bustle. The work was very detailed as my dress was filled with intricate detail and beading and she did a wonderful job maintaining the integrity and beauty of the dress. I couldn’t be more pleased. What. A. Gem. The owner of this place is absolutely the tops. I brought my wedding dress to her one week before my wedding, as my original shop did not do what I had asked them to do (they straight out refused actually in the end, won’t name them…). This tailor was patient, listened to exactly what I wanted, explained the difference and options of how we could make it happen, and was upfront and honest about the cost. She rushed my order for me, and had it ready in time for my wedding. I have only the highest regards for her and her work. I will be back, and have referred already, and will continue to do so. Thank you!!!

Excellent experience with them. Brought in an off the rack suit I picked up at Macy’s for some tailoring (hemming the legs, shortening the arms, etc.). Work was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

Aided in my fat ass fitting in my suit pants.

I was unable to wear my original gown at the last minute and called to see if my back up dress could get hemmed the same day. It turned out the dress needed additional alteration to ensure a proper fit. I was extremely impressed with the final result. My gown fit like a glove and I made it to my event on time!

Wow! I came here to get a prom dress altered. It needed to be taken in on the sides, hemmed up, and needed to add a bustle. Because of the design of the dress, a lot of work was required. Jolanda did an absolutely AMAZING job! She made it look perfect. She made sure to ask questions at the fitting and gave different options on what direction can be taken with the alterations. She was busy, but still managed to have everything ready on time, with the best quality! I would recommend coming here, and will defiantly be back !

I have been coming to Jolanda at J’s Tailoring for years. She’s simply the BEST! She is unbelievably talented and is able to alter anything as though it was customized just for you. I recently purchased a beautiful dress for my daughters wedding. The seamstress from the bridal store totally ruined the dress. They tried to fix the repairs that were needed three times and each time it got worse. I finally ended up leaving the store with the dress and called Jolanda in tears asking if she could please help me. My daughters wedding was in 10 days and I was starting to panic. She told me to come in right away so she could look at the dress to see if she would be able to do something. The dress was a mess!!! The dress was all lace and beaded so this was not going to be an easy fix. She had to completely take the dress all apart and totally re make the dress for me. Within two days she had the dress completely disassembled and had me come in for a fitting. She re pinned everything and had to work fast to get the dress put back together in just a few days. It was also Homecoming that same week, so she was extremely busy. But Jolanda managed to complete the dress in time for the wedding. It was stunning!!! I could not Thank her enough for all that she did and how perfect the dress was. She is not only talented, but she is a very caring person. She loves her customers and works very hard to make her customer’s happy. She’s a beautiful person inside and out. I will never have anyone do my alterations ever again accept for J’s Tailoring. She goes above and beyond for her customers. Her work is amazing. Thank you J’s Tailoring for all your long hours and hard work to make your customers happy! Your the BEST!

J’s tailoring did an outstanding job altering my wedding dress. It took a month to finish all the details but the job was completed professionally, on time, and on budget. I would highly recommend J’s tailoring!

J’s is the place to go if you need any tailoring done. I had a really good winter jacket that got a huge burn on the back. I thought the jacket was a total loss. I took it to J’s just to see if anything at all could be done, I didn’t have much hope. To my total delight J’s found a material that matched and did magnificent repair! It looks as good as new! I couldn’t be happier.

I recently had a new dress altered here. J’s was professional, offered several options for how I could get the dress altered, and had it done on time. I would definitely come back again!
