I had an infuriating experience trying to buy a magic trick from here.
I knew exactly what I wanted and called the store to see if they carried it. Rogue was friendly and helpful on the phone. He said he had what I wanted at his warehouse. When can I come to pick it up? I don’t know, my schedule is unpredictable. No problem, he says. He’ll just bring it to the store tomorrow so it can be there whenever I go. Sounds fantastic. I go, he says sorry, he didn’t bring it. I end up going the next day… Nope. Not there. Why he didn’t bring it? He wasn’t sure I was going to come that day.
I see no reason to try a third time.

Last night my boyfriend surprised me by taking me to this place on Queens Blvd. So parking was the biggest problem. The place is easy to spot because of the knight prop placed outside. Inside is small and decorated with various props. The tickets were $ 10 ten. Our Mc for the night was «Rogue». He was fun, entertaining and the magic tricks were great. There were three acts for the night. They have different acts every saturday. You are asked to rate them on a sheet given to you. At the end of the night, they have a raffle so you have a chance to win their magic trick box. Overall, the magicians were great and the night was filled with laughter so yay ! I am a fan. This is a great alternative for a movie night.

I had to leave a review since I loved this show so much. It was great magic. The slight of hand act was amazing.
My only critique is the space is rather small and the show lasted so long! We got there around 8:30/9 and left around 11:30!
I don’t think it usually runs this long (9−11pm) but it was still fun.
On a side not I just have to say this … I went to a magic show in Manhattan about two weeks earlier and was so disappointed. That show was a disaster. If you’re wanting magic so to Rogue.

I actually met rogue when he was doing tricks for a kid on the train once. I saw the living social deal and bought it. The place was super crammed and cozy but adorable. It was a great show. I saw a few kids there so its kiddy friendly.

I found good reviews and went to watch magic show with my family. Magic was
very boring and magician did nothing great that amused me. Their own people
were sitting in first two rows as audience. You get to volunteer but their
magic tricks doesn’t work on you but it works on people who sits on first
two rows. Worst part in my case. The audience sitting in first two rows
started working at magic shop during Intermission. They were asking us if we
would like to have Popcorn or Soda. During intermission Roger or Rogue
started auctioning their product to sell and people only sitting in first
two rows were bidding. They were just trying to sell their product at
higher price. If you bid, the first two rows will increase the price of the
product to get maximum out of you. Couple of tricks was good other than
that all tricks were lame. I am not going next time and would not
recommend anyone to go for magic show at Rogue Magic and Fun Shop.

I went to see the Saturday night show with just my husband, hoping to get a fun date night, and boy we weren’t let down! Although the place was packed and quarters were cramped, it probably spoke to how popular the show was. Try to call early to reserve a seat, and make sure to get there early for better seats! I witnessed Rogue telling people to come next time because the show was booked.
The show itself was outstanding, and was fun and safe for people of any age. The magician we had was named Raggedy Supreme, and his magic was great! I don’t have any kids (yet), so I didn’t want to see a kid show, after all, I was on a date. Luckily it wasn’t that, it was a well rounded show for all ages, and I don’t think anyone left that night without a smile on their face.
Rogue also did a auction for cool items, like the flaming wallet, and raffled off a magic kit. He told us about a Magic Summer camp they’re doing in August, and movie nights, other auctions, raffles, etc. You should stop by, seems like there is always something going on at Rogue’s shop :)

These guys are amazingly cool. They know their stuff! Highly reccommend!

Bar none the best magic shop in New York. Roger is exceptionally friendly and always willing to demonstrate anything. He’s dedicated to bringing wonder and amazement to everyone who comes into contact with him.
On Saturdays the shop closes at night for a magic show with different performers every week. The show is spectacular and always a good time. It should be noted though that the seats are close together and don’t allow for much leg room. Think coach on a budget airline. If you can get comfortable though you’re in for a great night of entertainment.
Rogue’s Magic and Fun Shop has all the right stuff for your magic and joke needs. Stop in, but be prepared to spend a lot of time in the store because it’s magnetic. Once you’re in, you won’t want to leave.

I bought tickets from living social (2 for $ 10) to attend a show. I went yesterday. The show starts seating at 9 PM and lasts until 11 PM. I saw three different acts. I had a great time. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing. There was also an auction for a flaming wallet and a raffle for a magic set. The place is a bit small. I went with my bf who is pretty tall (6’3) and they had to move the seats back to accommodate. In addition, I would suggest bringing a light jacket because it was chilly, at least for me anyways. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Go support live entertainment and who knows, maybe you’ll get picked to participate since the acts are interactive.

I understand business is business and everyone is trying to make a buck. I don’t think ripping people off by more that 3 times the mark up from everyone else is cool. The owner was trying to sell me a Criss Angel Platinum kit for $ 100 while everyone else like Walgreen, Criss Angel website, and amazon is selling the kit for $ 30. Yes, he did say he was going to do better. I walk in there because he has been getting a lot of attention in the papers and wanted to see the place. It’s a lot smaller than fantasma, which is in Manhattan. Nothing is priced so you have to ask him. I guess he could figure out who he can sucker and get the most out of it. He just lost a future customer. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

I love this magic shop! The owner is a wonderful magician and only sells top quality magic. Fun place too. Funky martial arts videos, loud music. If you’re an old fart, stay clear,

I’m been performing magic for quite sometime and I find Raj to be very helpful. If you spend a lot of money he gives you good discount. If they don’t have what you want in stock they can order it for you.
