I hate shopping! Why? Because I rarely find anything I like that is in my size. It is almost impossible to find a store that carries «at waist» pants. The below waist pants just do not fit me properly. I had passed by The Dress Barn a couple times and decided to stop in to check it out. I am so glad I did. Almost everything I tried on fit me perfectly! In fact, as an added bonus, I am a size smaller at The Dress Barn! The carry ‘at waist” pants in so many styles, I actually had a choice of different pants.
Customer service was wonderful too! Jen told me that if I ever see something I like, to make sure to grab it because things sell fast in that store. While I was leaving, I saw a jacket that caught my eye. I actually left the store, went to my car and then decided to go back in and buy the jacket too!!!
I am so excited to have «discovered» The Dress Barn!!!

Never thought I could like a place called The Dress Barn. Just the name would cause flashes of ugly, frumpy cowgirl style clothing your grandmother or least favorite elementary school teacher might wear to enter my brain.
But I was wrong!
My mom wanted to go last weekend because of some coupon she got in the mail, and asked me to go with her. I was honestly, pleasantly surprised!
I used to love The Limited and Express before they stopped carrying XL. Dress Barn actually has similar styles for business wear, but at about half the price. Also found some cute jeans and jeggings (which I never thought I could pull off, but they work!). The sales girls were very nice and helpful. I ended up getting a bunch of new clothes for vacation. I’ll definitely be back!
