From my experience, Elmira High School is about «average» in every since of the word. To this, its important to underscore that anything average today won’t exist tomorrow (so to speak).
In the decade or so since I graduated, from the outside it seems EHS hasn’t evolved to become a more competitive school in important metrics; not the least which is academics.
I remain amenable to revise this rating after my next visit to EHS — or evidence of progress the institution has made that’s not in my purview.

Sweet Home, OR
I thought Sweet Home was a small community. This makes SH look like NYC. At least I can say that the visitor stands are some of the nicest compared to a lot of locations we go to. Its very weird when you come to the field as you feel like you are going to drive right onto it and into the end zone. I do have to admit however the purple uniforms of Elmira are the bomb. I would rock the purple.
