We offer educational programming for adults and children, at your place or ours, as well as day camps for children during winter, spring, and summer vacations.
Our Mission:
To lead and support education and preservation efforts in our region to achieve a heightened awareness, understanding, and caring for our natural environment.
History
Established in 1973.
Tanglewood Nature Center and Museum was established in 1973, and has grown ever since. Our Nature Center (located on our Gleason Meadows/Frenchman’s Bluff property) building was completed in 2003, complete with a geothermal heating/cooling system. We now house over 40 live animals for educational purposes.
In 2013, we educated over 17,500 children in the region. We look forward to reaching even more community members in the future!
