Watercolors by George, LLC dba George’s Watercolors was a culmination of personal and professional adventures in pursuit of some creative outlet for free self-expression. The objective was to provide an affordable means for people to express to someone special «I Love You, or «I Care» or a simple «Thank You» for a specific reason or just because. It is for these reasons that George’s Watercolors considers itself both a Unique Florist & Creative Art Gallery. We offer flowers that last forever and limited/open edition detailed floral and animal watercolor prints. For variety of expression, all prints are matted and occasionally pre-framed prints are available. In addition, all creations can be reproduced on Note Cards and small «Mini-Prints», great for one-on-one sentiments or in multiple gifts, favors for any occasion.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
My mother was my inspiration to eventually pursue florals as the initial focus of my self-taught interest in the medium of watercolors. A graduate of Fishburne Military School and Lenoir-Rhyne University with a degree in Business, my professional career lead to both a Masters and Doctorate in Education by way of UNC-Charlotte, NC State and Walden University. My varied experiences including serving as an officer in the NC National Guard; allowing me to continue painting while working with children and adults in areas of rehabilitation, continuing education, child-development, adult education and counseling.
