I don’t have any prior experience with groomers but one day I needed my dogs nails cut and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of producing his veterinary shot records that are required at big chains like Petco and Petsmart. Sudzy Paws found me a time slot the same day that I called. I brought in my dog, he was terrified. The lady that greeted us took him from me so naturally he couldn’t even be scared anymore.
I picked him up about an hour later. He looked great! They are very thorough and he had the cutest bandana on.
Very affordable as well. I pay $ 20 for nail trim, bath, and whatever it is they do to make his hair look so nice.

After trying so many groomers around Sacramento, I finally discovered this little gem! Britney did such a fantastic job on my shiz tzu! He looks and smells great and was very happy when I received him. They do great work and are still able to get him done in 2 hours. Found our new groomers!

I love taking XO here to get groomed. The service is always amazing and the employees are awesome! I love that I am able to drop off XO a little bit before his appointment and when he is all ready for me I don’t have to pick him up right away but when I am available! It makes running errands and getting my little guy groomed a lot more convenient! Forever a lifer here :).

My husband made an appointment with Elverta Sudzy Paws because our 8 month old puppy was due for another hair cut and cleaning. We had always taken her to PetSmart and was never satisfied with the work done or the fact that we had to pay over $ 75 each time. Sudzy Paws did such a wonderful job on our puppy for half the price. She came out perfectly with two pink bows tied on her ears. Customer service was great! Brittany was so friendly. We’ve already booked our puppy’s next appointment!

I took my two furkids to be groomed there for the first time today. It only took them about 2 hrs to do both dogs and they both looked great! It was the first time for one of then to be groomed at all and they said she behaved well. I will be going back there for sure!

Just moved into this area and I wanted to get my dogs cleaned up before they’re inside the new house. Sudzy Paws was able to get me in the morning after I called them. One of my dogs got scared and startled them as well but they seemed very cool about it as he didn’t hurt anyone. If I bring him back, he’ll be muzzed ahead of time. They were super nice people and had a clean shop. Good experience for us.

Dale is wonderful! She groomed my pomeranian very nicely and gave helpful tips for his upkeep. You can tell she loves what she does and she is great at it! Ask for Dale, you will not be disappointed!

After taking my dog to several groomers this is by far the best place ever! My dog was so happy when I picked her up but most importantly she was not stressed one bit!!! You can’t beat the prices and the girls are soooo nice! When I would take my dog to other groomers I could barely get her in the door — no issues here! I just couldn’t be happier! Client for life after our first visit! Thanks guys! — ps — the free bandana that was given to her is just too cute !

I am so happy with the service I receive at Sudzy Paws! They are careful and meticulous with my fur babies. My cocker spaniels always come home looking lovely.

Can’t say enough how great of a job they did for my two dogs. Wash, ears, glands and nails for less than other groomers who only wash the dogs. Larry did my dogs. Got us in the same day we called. Will be going back every month.

I LOVE Sudzy Paws! My American Bulldog Jojo has been coming here for her beauty needs for a long time now. She always leaves Sudzy Paws smelling great, super clean and happy with a scarf around her neck. :) Kathy and her team are awesome and with excellent customer service! I will not go elsewhere. Great prices and FREE nail trimming anytime!

I found Sudzy Paws on short notice after walking out of Petsmart, Natomas (after waiting there for 15 minutes without being helped — by those dreadful girls who should be working at jack in the box, bad vibe there) Kathy at Sudzy Paws took my kitty on short notice for a bath and nail trim. I could tell the people working there were really enjoying what they do. Great customer service and very friendly. Cats aren’t generally thrilled with bath time but mine came home clean, relaxed, and happy with her new St Patrick’s Day bow.
Their prices are super reasonable too.
We will definitely be back!

What can I say?! This place is great! My baby girl came out looking and smelling fantastic! My dog is a terror, let me tell you and I was worried that she would rip the groomers arm off but Sarah (I think that was her name? Young and full of smiles) came over to my pup sat down and bonded with her right away. This made me feel so good. She took her time which was about 2 hours and for $ 37 (I believe the cheapest around) Just incredible. It is not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination but it was great service and my dog seemed very comfortable and looked great. I am so glad I found this place from Unilocal!:)

I have to say I have been every groomer in the Sacramento area and generally have had bad experiences and bad prices. I am so happy that this shop is super close to my home, extremely affordable and my puppy loves the people here! She was happy going in and happy coming out not to mention she smelt great and still does!!! She even got a little bandana that was super cute add on!!! The staff was very nice and helpful and even finished early and just gave me a call so I could pick her up! I will definitely be coming here again!!! :)

I have been to many groomers and finally I found a place so close to home and so affordable and absolutely wonderful. Sudsy Paws is a small little place but what it lacks in size it surely makes up for in heart. Every time I bring my dogs in I feel confident that they will be well cared for and loved.

Can’t beat the price! I must warn you though I don’t care how pretty my dog is just want him shaved in the summer. Nail clipping is included which is amazing because the price is amazing.

After trying Yuppy Puppy and a mobile groomer and not finding anyone who could groom my Yorkie with a correct Teddy Bear cut. I took my dog to Sudsy Paws and was very pleased. She was treated nicely, well groomed. I will not take her anywhere else now but this place. Wonderful Groomers highly recommended!

My border collie was groomed there about three weeks ago they failed to call me and tell me she was done although they claimed they did I had no missed calls or voicemails I finally called them and they said ya shes been done for hours so i rushed to pick her up a week after she was groomed my dog developed Kennel Cough and then passed it on to my other two dogs so it not only cost me the grooming fee but an additional 125.00 per dog I am not happy i will not recommend them EVER!

I found this place by searching for a groomer that was close to me. I live in Antelope, and there is a Yuppy Puppy, but it doesn’t fit me and the prices are somewhat ridiculous. I also wanted someone else to wash my dog, that’s why I go to a groomer. Not to go and do it
Myself, I can do that at home.
I called them and found out Sudsy Paws will cut your dogs nails for free. FREE. I thought that was amazing.
The place is kinda out there, only 5 miles away from me so not by much.
This place is not upscale, but it’s very friendly. The people are really nice. And they don’t cost an arm and a leg for their services. They did my two pugs for $ 15 a piece. That included a wash, dry, brush, ears cleaned, annals glands squeezed, and nail clipping (it’s already free anyways)
When I picked them up, they looked great. Their fur was so clean and soft. My female got a pink bandana and my male got a red-​orange bandana. Sudsy Paws do a fantastic job for a great price. definitely better than Petsmart/​Petco.
They even called me the next day to make sure I was satisfied.
They are definitely the groomer I am going to from now on.
And where there are located looks divey, but that does not translate to how great their service is.
