Hampton Inn & Suites

This Hampton Inn is a little nicer than most Hampton Inn’s. The rooms are also a little larger than most Hampton Inn’s. The bed is very comfortable, and overall the room is very comfortable and relaxing. The employee who checked me in was very friendly and she looked genuinely happy to see me. The only negative thing is that it’s a little complicated to get there, especially if you’re coming from the north via SR 2. I’ve never seen roads designed like this, but I’m not holding that against the hotel as it’s not their fault. The location is also a little shady. The hotel is located right next to a mall that has seen better days. The mall is surrounded by closed restaurants, a closed Walmart, and less that half full strip mall’s.

Great hotel. Convenient to freeway, free breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, and very friendly staff. I usually choose Hilton hotel, and this once again proves why I should continue using Hilton brand. Always good hotels for a great price.
This hotel is 45 min from Cedar Point and only 10 min from the airport. Good cheap location. And it’s next to a mall w/​a lot of lunch /​dinner options. Best of all worlds!

I’ve been coming to this location for a couple of years. The service at the desk is always welcoming and friendly. Rooms are pleasant and clean. The nicest part is the location. Right off the expressway and right next door to a mall, Best Buy and movie theater.

Rooms are a little larger than the standard Hampton room. New and fresh! Lots of outlets, well placed lighting. This was our 4^th different Hilton property in a week and the best of the bunch. Friendly staff, fresh breakfast. Hot and delicious oatmeal (not gloppy).

This place screams AVERAGE. While service at the main desk was good, the room cleaning was not. The breakfast fruit was fresh and good, but it ran out early and most everything else was of poor quality.
This place is in a difficult to find location on the edge of a large and sleepy mall.

A little confusing getting to Inn from I90, I missed the exit coming and had to «back track.»
Hotel had a full house and the staff could not have been more helpful, or pleasant!
Clean bright and a good breakfast bar to start the day.
Wither it wasn’t so late getting there — we didn’t get to the pool.
The shower was super. We would go back.

Brand new facility — which is nice — but unfortunately that also includes PAPER THIN walls for whatever reason. Doesn’t really matter how nice or new it is if you can hear full conversations one room over and doors slamming all night. Also, the associate when I checked in was cheery and friendly, however the evening help was far less accommodating and borderline hostile. Would not stay here again.

Other than loud doors and the walking around on the floor above us… this place is great. First time at a Hampton Inn. Way exceeded my expectations. Brand new room. Really comfortable bed and linens. Décor was as nice as the five star Boca Resort (which I came from). Our room had a king bed, fridge, microwave, plenty of storage space, the room was probably 20×20 feet. Bathroom was good too. Great wallpaper too!
I would stay here again.

The hotel accommodations were great. Brand new, clean, comfortable. Definitely the best hotel option in the entire Lorain area by far. Breakfast was good — lots of options and fresh. Large, welcoming lobby area for people to congregate. Pool and work out room were clean and functional. Staff at the hotel were friendly. It’s a little difficult to find — you have to follow directions to the mall and then loop all the way around to reach the hotel. The area isn’t the greatest, but from the looks of the construction it is improving. Our only complaint is that the hotel staff had great difficulty making and tracking our reservations for a large group. Jessica was very helpful — ask for her! — but almost everyone in our party had difficulty with their reservations despite multiple calls and conversations.

This place was built in July 2013 — it’s BRAND NEW and easily the nicest Hampton I’ve stayed in anywhere. It’s not even a close call. Everything is very clean, very contemporary. A great option for anyone on the road.
Be warned though … A local I met with for business in the area told me that the hotel is not in a good part of town. From what I understand, you don’t want to go out to eat in the area so make your dining plans accordingly and then stay in for the night.

This place was the best choice when stopping at this exit in Ohio. The room was so reasonable for not booking in advance. All facilities are current and up to date. There is also a free breakfast which was pretty good. The staff that was serving the breakfast was so friendly, especially for 6 a.m.

Really impressed with this facility. I felt as if I was at a Garden Inn instead of a Hampton Inn. Brand new and everything is fresh — nice décor and good use of space. Comfy beds too. The room has lots of places to plug in your technology and there is a mini fridge and microwave as well. Blow dryer and irons are in the room too.
I was also happy with their complimentary breakfast — good selection of hot and cold items. There was an attendant making sure that everything was stocked. The only complaint that I have about the breakfast is that they use all disposable dishes, cutlery, and cups; what an environmental nightmare! I say get some real dishes and buy a dishwasher.
I think we got a great deal!

My family and I stopped here on our way from New York to the University of Michigan. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Worth $ 150

We stayed a night at this hotel and found it to be nice, new and very clean. The interior design, furnishings and sheets were brand new. Got a good rate with AAA discount. Breakfast was good and employees were very friendly. I like the fact that the design is not «traditional» and makes an effort to be happy and fresh. Be warned that the floors are not soundproof and you will hear footsteps from other rooms, floors. I think the floor construction is wooden and not concrete so you may want to ask for a top floor room. And don’t expect the hotel to return anything if you accidently left it behind. I’ve been getting the run around from the several calls to employees and no one from that Hampton Inn returns calls as promissed. I’ve finally given up on that, but otherwise, it was a nice place to stop for the night. Its only about 45 minutes from Ceder Point and 15 minutes form the CLE airport. Its a bit tricky to find the entrance road, recommend that you look at the property on google earth before you go
