Dominic’s At Emerald Hills

I just finished having my High School 25 year reunion at Dominic’s. Everything was wonderful! Iris, the catering manager is very easy to work with, she was very understanding about the economics we were facing in the current economic climate. She was more than willing to work with me regarding deposit schedules, etc.
The day of the event, the staff was ready to assist with anything we needed — we were ready for guests right on time. The service was wonderful– of course we weren’t on our planned schedule because everyone was too busy with an extended cocktail hour, but the wait staff was very patient. Our meals were served expediciously and the food was wonderful! I spoke to many people, we had three entrée choices and everyone had good things to say.
Larry from the bar was very efficient and took care of everyone in a very timely manner. I was impressed when he realized that he had opened up Merlot’s instead of Cabernet’s for the tables and went ahead and opened up Cabernet’s even though I told him Merlot would have been just fine. Bottom line, he didn’t want to disappoint the client (me).
The location is beautiful with wonderful views of the peninsula, the golf course and nice pool area.
I would book an event here without hesitation!

My brother-​in-​law and his new bride had their wedding here. I was less than impressed with the catering service. The food was ok, the dishes were dirty (at a table of 10, 6 of the champagne glasses were FILTHY), the service was slow and disorganized. They had an entire dish of spinach dip for appetizers, but only put out like a half a box of crackers — then didn’t bother to refill the crackers! The portions were small, from the salad to the main course. I would highly recommend setting up a firm time line if you use their services and understand completely what and how much is being served.
