A familiar sight in a new neighborhood! Can’t get enough of their delicious pizzas. The day’s special was walnut, gorgonzola, onion, arugula, and balsamic. YUM.

Truly unique and delicious! Their sourdough is incredible, their cheese rolls are heavenly, and the english muffins are the best I’ve had and I love the deal of 6 for $ 4. And, only Arizemndi could pull off the weirdest and tastiest pizza’s ever. I never would have thought root vegetables on a pizza would be good, but they managed to pull that off! I love how unique their pizzas are with their incredible sourdough as the base for the pizza dough. And, the employees go out of their way to get to know their customers :)

Delicious pizza and good coffee. Don’t know why, but this location just isn’t as good as the one on Lakeshore when it comes to the bakery side of things, so skip the scones and muffins and stuff.

Great price for lunch at $ 2.75 per slice. The customer service was so good that I nearly gave Arizmendi four stars. But that would be misleading… The pizza of the day was arugula, gorgonzola, onions, walnuts, and balsamic vinegar. It was okay, I certainly wouldn’t go back for it. The gorgonzola and walnuts were AWOL, one of my two slices had the gorg and both had one or two small pieces of walnuts. Both of these elements needed to play a larger role in this dish. The arugula was cooked with the pizza but I would have preferred it to be raw. Also, the pizza was overall much too sweet for my liking. The best part of the pizza was the crust. Light, thin, and crispy. I would go back for a different flavor.

The pizza here is wonderful evening and the service is great. They even check for my ID to ensure my credit card belongs to me. They have a great variety of bread and the deals are good. The only reason why I mark this down by one star is because they support the death of police officers. Posting a sign that Black Lives Matter advocates violence on law enforcement officials.

If you are a gluten fiend like me then you will love this place — really outstanding baked goods from a worker owned collective business. When I go there I am really stuck in terms of having to choose what to get because it is all so good. I typically go on the weekend and am partial to their sweet items — cookies and cakes. Pizza is also excellent as well as the focaccia — definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been here yet.

I come here for the yummy, daily(vegetarian) pizza! okay, who am i kidding? I come here for the corn meal scones, sweet sallies(sticky bun with pecans), the almond cookie, currant scones, freshly baked breads… anything with cheese! I guess it would’ve been easier to note what i don’t like here… hmm…that would probably be the granola… ONLY because it seems so healthy! This location seems less busy than the Oakland Lakeshore one which i like but has more ‘characters’ at this one asking for money for food… and yeah, one time i bought one of these characters a coffee and scone and got a «i don’t want this #$*&# i wanted money’…gotta laugh. In any case, staff friendly and gets the line moving as it does get busy during peak times.

I love Arizmendi and always have. The pizza is amazing — the crust is crunchy and chewy at the same time. They are generous with the toppings and the quality of the cheese(s) they use is outstanding. The other bakery items are of the highest quality and the corn cherry scone is my go-to favorite. The best part is that they have not jacked up their prices like almost every other food business has in the Bay Area.

The best pizza I’ve had. Love their use of sourdough. The people are very nice. Helps to be a cooperative. Everyone’s vested in making the customer happy. The oatmeal cookies are awesome too.

Came here after searching for vegan specific on Unilocal, but unfortunately the pizza is not vegan. Bummer! I’m only here for work one more day and was hoping to eat here. Latte was out fast and perfectly balanced taste, so it wasn’t all bad and helped to keep the hanger at bay until I found another place to chow down at.

great fruity scones and tasty vegetarian pizza. they only serve one kind of pizza per day so your ordering is simple :) don’t let the vegetarian label scare you away — I am no vegetarian but this place is still one of my favorite pizza joints. great customer service too.

First of all, the people who work at Arizmendi are friendly, warm, and very genuine people who care about every item in the bakery(I believe Cheeseboard is with the same group of collectives) All the ingredients here are fresh and every item is carefully made. When I went, this place was crowded but I got my order fairly quickly and my order was fresh and hot. We got pretty lucky and were able to find seating right away but be prepared to wait to sit since this place is so popular. Also – parking here is a breeze! recommendations: Anything with egg in the middle, all of their breads, and I’ve heard great things about their daily pizza

As an east coast pizza snob, most california pizza parlors simply fail to satisfy me. You wouldn’t go to Philadelphia and ask where the best mexican food is… That being articulated, this bakery’s pizza is delicious. Hot, crispy & chewy, with a great flavorful crust that leaves an after taste of goodness. They serve one style of pizza per day, so the decision making is easy. I go randomly, have never had the same toppings twice, but have always had a consistent, enjoyable experience. I think they are affiliated with the Cheese Board too, which has similar, if not identical recipes for the goodness. The premium price is worth it to an east-coaster looking to satisfy their pizza craving without any disappointment.

Same style as Cheeseboard Pizza’s delicious thin crust sourdough pizza with daily changing vegetarian toppings. Last week they had butternut squash on the pizza, which is a little strange in June but it was tasty. You can look up that day’s pizza on their website. The baked goods are not in the same class as the Cheeseboard, however. The sourdough english muffins are all different sizes and the day I bought them they were stale.

My love for Arizmendi goes back to when this location opened and I lived in the neighborhood. I often came here on weekends for a savory pastry or slice of pizza, which I prefer over the sweets. They have a great selection of cheese as well, so I find myself stocking up on fresh rolls to eat with soft perfect cheeses. I love the pizzas because they are so unique and have fresh and healthy ingredients. The very best thing I ever ordered was a pumpkin cheesecake(pre-order) for Thanksgiving. It was so good, I had to fight off the hungry masses to preserve the cheesecake until dessert time. It was so rich, creamy and flavorful — that I think that I actually died, it wasn’t a food coma, I actually died.

Great veggie pizza options that tastes good. Very unique flavor combos. Cute interiors. Very hole-in-the-wall feel. Employee-owned. Nice people who seems very hard working. Pastries look good! Vegan and non-vegan options. But I didn’t try to these. Loved the pizza though. Not brand-chain cheap but I found it very affordable.

Aces as always! I, like many, have a sweet spot for my local Arizmendi. I love how their approach with the daily pizza. No huss, no fuss. Just a tasty pizza that you can take-n-bake at home. You can expect their ingredients to be always top-notch. Cheeses, premium. Sourdough crust, immaculate. Mornings are obviously best since things are nice and fresh, but I’ve still had good luck even during a late evening bakery runs.

Ah what a nice treat on a lovely Friday evening. My best friend brought me here bc I’ve been wanting to try cheeseboard forever and this is their sister location. We came with a bit of a time crunch bc I needed to make a train but I’m so glad we did. The pizza of the day was a Kale/lemon/walnut and god was it amazing! The baked goods also looked very tempting. I did buy a loaf of sourdough to go. I wanted to especially mention the staff was beyond wonderful! Joseph and another women were there and had accidentally forgot about my pizza, i reminded them bc we were running late and they felt so bad and gave me extra goodies to make up for it. You guys rock!!! :) I can’t wait to come back, with more time of course!

$ 2.75 pizza slice $ 10 half pizza $ 10 for yesterday’s whole pizza $ 2 – 3 assorted baked goods Overall it looks a lot like the bread and pizza side of cheeseboard but it doesn’t compare in flavor. Here the pizza had a pretty standard thin crust and a nice layer of cheese and unique toppings. The flavor of that day was ricotta, walnut, lemon oil and onion. The walnuts didn’t add much and were unseasoned. The lemon though did shine through although subtle. The pizza though was less oily and less bold/full flavored than cheeseboard(missing salt?). I would return again for convenience but it’s not quite there. I also got a pecan sticky bun – pretty standard. I wish it were softer.

Pizza of the day! I love their creations. Today was Butternut Squash, Radichhio whatever that is, Feta, Rosemary and Garlic Oil. I paired it with a small salad and bottle of water all under $ 8! I was pleased and satisfied. The pizza was a tad bland but still good! Looking forward to attending their Dia de Muertos celebration! I like that they are a conscious business in both culture and ingredients but I wish they had longer hours!
