Located on Bay Street among many wonderful shops, under a canopy of sparkling lights. Solé Salon is a full service Aveda salon. With an exceptionally friendly and creative atmosphere you will receive the full Aveda experience, from the comforting tea to the stress relieving scalp and shoulder massages and providing excellent hair services, latest in color and cutting trends, extensions, styling and more.

Mary Ella did a fantastic job not only on my highlights but also on my cut! She listens to what you want and takes that to a whole new level. Mary Ella has been styling and cutting my hair for as long as I can remember. She always gives you such personal attention and care that you feel as though your hair is the only important hair in the world! She is meticulous and caring, and always answers my many questions thoroughly and patiently. To say she is a hair inspiration is putting it very lightly, I always go away from a cut or style with renewed motivation and spark. I am only too willing to drive 2+ hours (sometimes more) to have Mary Ella cut and style my hair, it is ALWAYS well worth it!

Mary Ella is the only person I trust to do my hair. The experience is relaxing and stress-​free, and she makes sure to listen to my preferences so I’m always ecstatic with the results. Communication is key, and Mary Ella really takes the time to understand what the client desires (my hair is curly, and I have strong opinions about bangs).
Mary Ella has colored, highlighted, cut and styled my hair many times, always with consummate professionalism and the benefit of her years of experience and eye for style and beauty.
In addition to my regular hair cuts, I’ve also enjoyed Mary Ella styling my hair for special events – I always feel so poised and confident when she’s done my hair, and I can just relax. The best part is that Mary Ella will travel to you on the day of your special event and style your hair in your own home or at the venue. I’ve loved my elegant updos, the curls held up for more than twelve hours, and Mary Ella is a virtuoso when it comes to innovative braiding techniques.

Mary Ella gives me the BEST hair cuts and color ever!!! Mary Ella takes the time to conceptualize exactly what I am looking for in a haircut or color so that I am happy! She has been cutting my hair for a while now, and just this week colored my hair for the first time ever. I would not really trust anyone else to color my hair, but I am very confident with Mary Ella’s abilities. I could not be more pleased with everything she has ever done to my hair.
She is also the purest and sweetest person I have ever met, which always helps;)
