Love this office!!! I was hesitant to find a new OB doctor as I was pretty much «married» to my previous OB doc/​staff that I absolutely adore, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I absolutely adore the doc/​staff here! The gals up front are so warm, welcoming, and very sweet! Dr. Musinski may come across cold, but I promise you he is an excellent doctor! I am not the easiest patient as I tend to overreact/​worry about everything, but he was very patient with me, answered all of my ridiculous questions, and met all of my needs!

Dr. Musinski is a wonderful doctor. I was going to a clinic and switched because I felt like my needs weren’t being met. Dr. Musinski listens patiently to your questions and makes you feel at ease. He always looks very relaxed and it is very calming in the delivery room. I had my first child in Los Angeles and the delivery was chaotic. Dr. Musinski delivered my second child and I couldn’t be happier with how I was treated. The delivery was quick and so quiet. No chaos, just Dr. Musinski patiently giving the nurse instructions and telling me to let him know when I was ready to push. It’s nice when a doctor lets a patient listen to their body and doesn’t dictate the pace or act like he knows more than you. I am very happy with Dr. Musinski. The only reason I gave him 4 stars is due to the fact that he has a nurse practitioner and isn’t available Monday through Friday but his receptionists and assistants are very sweet and willing to accommodate.

I went to this dr with a lot of fear after reading the reviews on Unilocal about him and the office but happily had a wonderful experience.
I went to him in my first trimester after a couple of miscarriages with a different dr. I was sensitive and scared.
The front desk was amazing, I love all the girls and the main man DR M, looked after me wonderfully. He is not the chattiest dr but he listens does as you ask is very caring and fantastic at what he does.
I now have a beautiful 6 mth old daughter, I never thought she was going to be here but I do believe she is in a large part because of Dr Musinski.
I will tell you too that I was told at scrips from the nurses that when they have delivered their children that they go to dr M as he is so meticulous and detailed.
If you are looking for a great obey you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Dr Musinski for about 10 years. I had two beautiful healthy boys while under his care. I think he’s wonderful. He’s very honest, and that’s what I like about him. He has a very gentle demeanor, is very knowledgable, and explains all the medical options in a way that’s easy to understand. I think he’s an excellent doctor.

I was a patient of Dr. M for several years. My experience, overall was positive. He was always very willing to spend time with me answering my (way too many) questions! He was also pretty good about referring me to receive diagnostic tests as needed, and the few times he wouldn’t, I had gotten the same reasons for not ordering them from other doctors. Paula, the office manager, has always been kind and professional as well.

I’m shocked at the negative reviews. Ive been seeing this doctor for years. I’ve always had a good experience at this office; from the doctor and staff. The doctor is very intelligent and definitely knows what he’s doing. He’s patient and listens well. Maybe some people just take his reserved personality for something that it is not. I highly recommend this doctor.

Firstly, I have read some of the reviews for Dr Scott Musinski and to be honest, I am in shock at the negative reviews. My experience has been so amazing and I feel like there must be some sort of mistake.
From the first time I called the office to make my appointment to the conclusion of this appointment, I was treated with so much kindness and respect. The office staff are amazing and attentive and went out of their way to make my visit as comfortable as possible.
The office itself is beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and I immediately felt at ease.
The outstanding service rendered to me by the staff definitely helped with my nerves.
Now, to to the main man, Dr Musinski. What can I say? Well, to say that I am impressed by his manner is the understatement of the year. He answered all my questions and never once did he make me feel stupid. He is so gentle and takes his time to explain things. He is knowledgeable and understanding and put me at ease. I am a complete crazy person when it comes to my health and ask the most obscure questions. I admit this. But instead of looking at me like I was crazy, he just took charge of the appointment and made me see reason.
Highly skilled, intelligent and top notch. I advise women looking for an outstanding ob/​gyn to look him up.

Worst experience ever… went in because I was having a miscarriage, talk about horrible sympathy and bedside manner. Came back 6 weeks later because we were lucky enough to get pregnant again, and all he could talk about was it probably was just left overs from the miscarriage; even though I was tested at a HGC level of a 3 and no hpt can read that after my miscarriage. Then he told me that it was probably nothing and I needed to get blood tests done. He was so stone cold. I was very let down both of my appointments. When I told his front staff I needed paperwork to be seen somewhere else, talk about RUDE. I have never felt so sad and frustrated ever. I suggest this Dr. Take everyones advice and learn to be more compassionate and have a little bit more sympathy. He needs to smile more and not be so monotone…

I’m not sure what is wrong with some of these reviewers! Dr. Musinski has been my OBGYN for over 5 years. I was his patient at his old office, in transition, and at his beautiful new office as well! I had all of my prenatal appointments with him. He delivered my 2 children, was supportive of my all natural approach, and after that helped me with birth control. Since then I’ve seen the nurse practitioner, and love her too. He is very gentle and kind natured, and has the reputation of being one one of the best surgeons at Scripps Encinitas. He welcomed our Doula and followed and respected our birth plan as closely as possible. There is no doctor who I would feel more comfortable with in a possible emergency situation. He is great! If we had another child, I would choose him again! In the meantime, I really enjoy his nurse practitioner for more routine woman issues where you might want to talk to a woman and have a more detailed conversation about annoying symptoms. She was great!

It is wonderful to have a physician you can trust. Dr. Scott Musinski offers the highest level of care & does so from a holistic approach. His skills are top notch. His support staff are always pleasant, helpful & efficient. Even though my HMO recommends care over 60 miles away, I maintain Dr. Musinski as my physician & will continue to do so. His practice is the best there is.

I give that one star with hesitation. I went to visit Dr. M a while ago and I was Displeased with his bedside manner and had decided that was a one and done with him.
Fast forward 8 months later due to some medical issues I found out he gave me the wrong prescription for what I needed! His office assistants were rude and they were not helpful at all when we called then from the pharmacy. Very disappointing! Will never go back.

Dr Musinski is nice enough I guess, IF you are «lucky» enough to get to see him, which I had in the past. I have been a patient for a few years, have always felt the office and the staff was rushed and somewhat short and rude. I consistently chose to overlook it. They now seem to be VERY concerned with getting new patients in to cover the cost of the newly remodeled offices. This year my insurance switched. I was still covered and authorized by my HMO to see Dr. Musinski, but now you get to be examined by a nurse practitioner, not the doctor himself. I took 2 hrs off work unpaid to see the doctor and when I arrived for my appt I was ordered to sign a waiver for «unforeseen charges» that may not be covered by the insurance. Good enough, but when I tried to call my husband to see what to do, they made a fuss and said that the nurse practitioner couldn’t wait, she was going to lunch! (I had arrived 10 min early and had no problem signing a waiver, but they couldn’t even tell me how much a regular office visit was billed for and they couldn’t wait 30 seconds while I was on the phone w my husband)
Needless to say, I’m finished with Dr. Musinski. I just scheduled my Well Woman exam with another Doctor within the network.
Don’t go here unless you have to. Spend your money (insured or not) in an office where bedside manners and patient care is more important than billings.

I went to the doctor a couple of years ago and he disregarded all of my symptoms. He was too busy trying to put me on a birth control pill without paying attention to what I was saying — it’s such a shame that doctors do that. Without any rhyme or reason they want to put you on something so that you have to renew your prescription with them and bring them cash flow…

First of all personally Dr. Musinski is a nice gentlemen. Here’s the rub. He’s an OB-​GYN representing himself as someone who does non-​scalpel vasectomies through the Urology network in San Diego. I did not know he was an OB-​GYN to start and it was a surprise. His front office made me pay up front for my visit which was fine. When he did my examination he immediately said that he could not handle my case and had to refer me out.
While he did refer me to another fully qualified doctor, he did not return my money or even provide partial credit. He clearly has vasectomies as his side gig in my opinion. I was the only male in the waiting room. My suggestion is anything nonstandard do not bother using Dr. Musinski. He will charge you no matter if he can do the procedure or not. Best to go to someone who does this as their main focus.
Lastly and least importantly his office manager was very disrespectful to me. My opinion is she is there to protect against disappointed patients. Knowing my past medical history Dr. Musinski should have never seen me, but in the end collected my fees.

I have given birth to three children and thank god I was not in Dr. Musinski’s care. I am on my 4^th child and went to try him out and ended up walking out in the middle of my appointment due to his lack of bed side manner. His office is DIRTY and old. He does not listen or care to listen to his paitents wants or needs for the birth of THEIR child. It seems to me he just wants the $$ and doesn’t care abouth the paitent. A deffinate NO GO. There are plenty other doctors who are wonderfull and caring out there
