WORST SERVICE EVER!!! They were dispatched by Sears Home Warranty to come out to fix my dishwasher. The guy came out and ordered an additional part and said they would come out in 2 – 3 days to install it. I had a different repair guy out yesterday who said there needs to be AN ADDITIONAL part ordered or it still will not work. I called Apex and the lady was sooooo rude and said over and over again «we’ve ordered the part… it will be here in a few days»…I continued to say «i need them to come out and order an additional part or it will not work». She rudely said «he’s busy today, you have to wait till your part comes in». I told her to dispatch a different tech to come today. She said no. WOW… talk about HORRIBLE service. They miss a part that needs to be fixed and now I have to suffer a smelly sewage stench dishwasher for how knows who long till they can get the additional part ordered. BAD BAD SERVICE

The tenant in my rental property left me a message that the heating element in the oven had stopped working. I called Apex early in the AM, got a prompt call back, and connected the technician and tenant. I was called to authorize the purchase of a new heating element, and everything was repaired by the end of the next day with no additional effort needed on my part. I was pleased with the promptness of the repair.

Serge came out and looked at my fridge.
Not the best of news, but it is what it is.
He was quick and friendly and knew his job.
Gave me some options, but it looks like it’s time for a new unit.

I called 5 different companies and his is the only one that responded within 10 minutes and came out within 2 hours. Unfortunately my washer would cost more to fix than to purchase a new one– but he gave me some good recommendations on new washers.

Apex was excellent. I had a broken washing machine and called a couple of other local repair places before Apex. One was closed for holidays (MLK) and the other couldnt get to my repair before the afternoon. I didnt want to spend all day with this issue. I called Apex at 8:30 AM and Sergey was there by 9:30 AM (within the hour!). He was able to diagnose the problem (needed a new pump), had the Whirlpool manufacturer part on hand, replaced the broken one and was done within an hour. He was very competent and friendly. Great service at a competetive price. The amazing part was how quick they were able to get to my house and fix the problem. Thanks!

The woman who just called me back to schedule an appointment was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She said her name was Rita. We were scheduling an appointment for Wednesday between 8 – 12. She said if I didn’t answer the phone when the technician called during that 4-​hour window that he would not show up. I said there was a chance I might not be able to answer the phone (perhaps I would be in the bathroom, or on another phone call) but I would call them right back. She said «NO the technician will not show up.» I said it again. She said «you will be in the bathroom for 4 hours?» We went back and forth a few times and she hung up on me.
I’m not sure how they could have possibly gotten any real 5-​star reviews. I would absolutely never use them for service and we have 4 rental properties and are constantly needing appliance service. We were referred to them by American Home Shield which will be hearing about my experience with them too.

Apex/​Sergey were great from the first phone call to the repair of our fridge in exactly one week, which was perfect. This was a non-​insurance job, so they did not have to wait for approvals and were not limited to a stupidly-​low-​dollar budget, etc. Sergey came the same day we called, is/​was very professional, explained the problem and what he proposed to do (replace the broken part, which was expensive but less so than buying a new fridge), wrote a detailed estimate, and returned in a week to install the «new» fridge. I will happily call Apex again for our appliance repair needs!

This company has the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! They were the contract with my home warranty service, so when my fridge needed to be repaired, Apex was the company they referred me to. I had to request follow up twice since no one responded. The technician showed up and did nothing. He check the seal on the fridge and said don’t leave the door open. When it came to the broken handle he said nothing to me but to my warrantee company he said it was blunt force damage. When I called to simply state the obvious that 2 women could not do this to a fridge the manager did not understand why I was calling. I do not believe the technician knew what he was doing since all he did was take out a flashlight and look at the seals and not make any recommendation for the ice and frost build up. I would NEVER do business with these people again!!! And I certainly would NOT recommend them to anyone

I called on a Friday afternoon with a Maytag dryer that broke down. I called and spoke to Marina. She was very nice. They sent someone the next day (they worked around my schedule). Sergey showed up. He was nice, efficient, figured it out right away. I knew going in that there was a $ 49 charge to come and it would be applied to my bill if there was a part that needed to be replaced. They had to replace a control board. He had it. It all worked perfectly. He even gave me some advice about my washing machine as well.

This company has the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! They contract with my home warranty service, so when my appliance needed to be repaired, Apex was the company they referred me to. The person who answers the phone is rude. I had to call multiple times to ask them to set up a time with my tenant to come check the appliance, and then when they did check it and determined that it needed parts, etc. they never followed up with the home warranty service to get the appliance repaired or replaced. After almost 2 weeks, I finally had to call the home warranty service company to complain & they told me they had never received a report from Apex. I would NEVER do business with these people again!!! And I certainly would NOT recommend them to anyone!

What a scam! Yesterday, I noticed a fairly strong thiol odor emanating from my range. When I opened the door to the oven, it was even more pronounced. I immediately phoned SDGE which dispatched two service technicians in no time. They located a leak in a valve on the inside back of the range, and told me to contact an appliance repair technician. I phoned several companies and decided to have Apex check it out and give me an estimate for repair. The next day, at the predicted time, an Apex service tech came out. But, he didn’t have any gas sensing equipment AT ALL with him and relied solely on what I told him the SDGE technicians told me and the cryptic note that they left. I challenged him how he could make any kind of assessment or inspection without a gas meter, and we went around on this for a while. He wrote an estimate for over $ 300, tho the part itself costs less than $ 150. But, since I asked for him to come to my residence, even though he did not make his own assessment using any actual tool (other than his eyes), I owed him the service fee of $ 49. FOR.PRACTICALLY.NOTHING!
ADDENDUM: They sent back my check, uncashed, stating that I had asked for a refund (I had not).

Great, amazing and fast service. Andrew came out to help us with our refrigerator that was not cooling. He imediatley explained what steps he was going to do to find the problem. I can not say enough of how great his customer service skills were.
We used Apex to get a second opinion and his answer was completley different and cheaper then the prior companies quote. The original company we called out asked me for a blow dryer and wanted to install a new compressor. We did not even need a compressor, we needed a starter!
I will definitely recommend Apex. Andrew said he has worked with the company for 9 years and he is amazing! Andrew even had the part that we needed to fix the fridge. The first company that came out told us we’d have to wait a few days for the part. Apex is amazing and honest!
