Located in Leucadia on a third of an acre fully fenced with lots of grass to romp on. Your pooch has the run of the place. If they sit on your couch, then they’ll sit on mine. If they sleep with you then they’ll sleep with me. There are lots of toys and a wading pool to splash around in. Pick up and drop off times are very flexible. Special diets, hand feeding, and medications are easily accommodated at no extra cost.

I love dogs. I always have. I’ve had dogs my entire life. I grew up in SD, spent my childhood exploring canyons with my loyal companion, Droopy, our family dog. We had daily adventures, sliding down hills on cardboard, hiking in crevices, forging new trails. I moved to NYC as an adult and began my life of walks and trips to the park 3 times a day when I found a Belgian mix roaming the streets, a beauty I named Athena. Later into our pack came a deaf knucklehead hound mix named Rocky. I returned to SD in 2005 to be my mother’s caregiver. My last sweet pea, Jake, a Lab mix, came to live with us from the shelter in 2006. We moved to Leucadia in 2009. I chose this home with its huge backyard for Jake. He loved it. When he suddenly passed in December 2012 I was heartbroken. Jake’s spirit guided to open Auntie Allison’s Bed n’ Bark in February of 2013. I couldn’t be happier.
