Health and Wellbeing rings true for Dr Weiss. She looks at the body as a whole and is truly thorough with her treatment. Extremely sweet human being with compassion and is up to date with treatment and meds. I consider myself fortunate to have been referred to her, especially since I need to be closely monitored as a Cancer Survivor. Her office staff are great too.

Dr. Weiss is a true treasure when it comes to healthcare. She is by far the best doctor anyone could ask for. She listens to all concerns, is extremely up to date and knowledgable, and is compassionate and caring. I am truly grateful that she was recommended to me by a doctor who is a friend of the family. I would highly recommend her.

I’m pretty surprised at some of the really negative reviews here because I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Weiss. She was the only person to ask ALL the right questions which led to finding out my real diagnosis, and she has a more holistic approach to treatment that I personally appreciate. I also sincerely thank her for monitoring me closely during pregnancy, as my previous dr did not at all. She is easy to schedule with and today I was in and out in 30 minutes. I refer Dr Weiss to people anytime I can!

My first appointment with Dr. Weiss left me feeling very optimistic. She was very thorough and listened to all my crazy symptoms. I believe once my in-​depth lab results come back, I will finally get some of the answers that I’ve been seeking for the past 8 years. I’m glad I found her!

Dr. Weiss is amazing. She was able to treat all of my hormonal imbalances by listening to me and intelligently asking me the right strategic questions to diagnose my issues. She really takes the time to listen to the symptoms and works with you to find the right solution. I would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing hormone-​related symptoms.

I have been under the care of Dr Weiss for the last 3 years and I am so grateful. It really could have been difficult for me to manage my medical diagnosis without her excellent care. I was tearful my first few appointments and she was so empathetic. Dr Weiss is very knowledgable, thorough, and dedicated to her patients. She genuinely cares about how you are feeling and wants to get you back to feeling your best. Not only does she recommend prescription therapy, but she also incorporates holistic approach with vitamins, lifestyle changes, diet, etc. She really wants to engage you as the patient in your own health to help create the best care plan.
Accessibility is excellent. I have needed frequent blood work and it has been easy to have lab orders made available when needed and prescriptions changed and refilled. She has referred me to other specialist efficiently and usually you can schedule an appointment with her within a few days or weeks instead of months out. It is true that her phone number often has an answering machine, however, the staff does get back to you and Dr Weiss is responsive to emails. All my appointments and lab results are available on a website, which is also very convenient.
The clinic is located in a medical plaza and the waiting room is relaxing, beachy environment. You never have to wait long to be seen as she stays on schedule.
I have recommended her to friends and they have also been very appreciative of her care.

I hesitated writing this review because I think Dr. Weiss is a nice person. I saw her twice– once for an initial evaluation and then once for a follow up.
After my first visit, I was impressed. She seemed to ask all the right questions, listen to my concerns, order some tests, suggested some natural remedies (which I appreciate a non-​medical route), and said we would know more after my diagnostics came back. I was pleased with that.
When I went back for my bloodwork and everything came back normal (which I was relieved!), I found Dr. Weiss asking the same questions she had asked during my initial visit. This made me question if she was listening to me the first time. She was very quick to offer medication for one of my concerns (which I declined because I didn’t feel comfortable taking it). This bothered me, to be honest. It’s unnerving to have a doctor ask the same questions, and then offer medication without really knowing you as a patient.
She did offer to run some more tests (which I declined because I just didn’t feel like she was interested after I declined medication), and referred me to a sleep center.
No follow up, no ‘call if you have any more questions’, nothing. I don’t see a need to return, but even if I did, I would probably seek out a different physician.

Dr. Weiss is great. She’s concerned, informed, and really helps with my medical issues – even if that means recommending a non-​medical approach like meditation. She’s also great at answering all of my questions. I highly recommend her.

Dr Weiss has been a great Dr for my wife and I. She is a good listener and very up to date in her knowledge and applies that to her medical care. Followup is prompt and professional. Highly recommend.

I am giving her 1 star as there is no option to give negative ratings here. If you need to see a live example of a kid practicing medicine, that too in a specialty like endocrinology then you can go here. I have been a thyroid patient for last 6 years and have consulted 3 doctors as I moved to different places. When I moved to San Diego I was lured by Dr. Weiss’ professional website. Later I realized that that was the most professionalism I would ever see in her work, staff and practice. She treated me as a guinnea pig who pays her for her hit and trial practice. Most of the earlier doctors I visited for this condition kept adjusting my dosage according to my latest labs. However, she always kept me on same dosage no matter how terrible I felt, and what my labs showed. Whenever I questioned her about my medication and symptoms (being an aware patient) she would happily GOOGLE for the answers in my presence and refer me to the pages she just found. She was too keen on referring me to a general physician, gym etc. Looks like referral credits are very important for her, rather than doing her job. Her staff reflects her unprofessioanl behavior without any contradictions. They are unresponsive, rude and careless to the core. They would order wrong medications and once when they over ordered a prescription and I escalated this to Dr. Weiss, her reply was -«If you got extra then take extra». I will love the medical board to reconsider her license as I think she is an endangerment to patients. This is the worst I ever felt in last 6 years with this condition. STAY AWAY please!!!

Dr. Weiss spent more time with me in one visit than my previous Endocrinologist did in two years. She was willing to work with me to figure out why I wasn’t feeling well, although my initial thyroid numbers looked fine (I have Hashimoto’s disease). Based on my initial labs, she recommended a variety of supplements as well as suggesting meditation to reduce my symptoms (lack of energy, poor sleep, general feelings of depression). In four months, I have followed her suggestions and have seen a tremendous improvement in all these areas. Additionally, Dr. Weiss referred me to a cardiologist for the arrhythmia that I have had for over 20 years (no previous doctor thought it warranted a follow up). Long story short, my heart issue was getting worse and we are planning a surgical procedure to prevent further deterioration. I would not have gone to a cardiologist until symptoms interfered with my daily life, which would likely have been after my heart had been damaged.
I recommend Dr. Weiss for any woman who wants to be treated as a person, not a disease or a sheet of lab results.

Not impressed by this practice. They had no problem taking my co pays for office visits and labs, yet did not give me any help or offer any solution to the problems I was having. Kept pushing me to go to a specialist they use. Do they get a referral credit or something? Also, very difficult to get in touch with someone at the office. You are put on hold for very long times, and if you leave a message it takes a week or two in my experience to get any kind of answer back. This may be good for women going through menopause. For me I got no help with my issues and ending up wasting time and money. I went elsewhere and another doctor figured out the problem right away and helped me a lot. I will not return.
