Cut Back Taxes was started in the Los Angeles area and has recently moved to San Diego, CA. We specialize in the speedy, accurate, and affordable preparation of individual and business taxes. Hello my name is Timothy Lynch and I am the proud owner of Cut Back Taxes. I have been in business for over 7 years, and I’ve assisted hundreds of clients in tax preparation, planning, and investment strategies. I have two bachelor’s degree’s in Business Finance, Real Estate, & Law and also in Business Marketing. I’m a licensed CA real estate broker and tax preparer. I am also a commercial airline pilot in my off time. I look forward to assisting you in your tax preparation and planning needs. Thank you and god bless!

I hate taxes. Thank God there is Tim the tax man. Basically hand him all your forms and he takes it from there! Been coming to him for a few years now. for good reasons obviously. Super quick, confidential, knowledgeable, and fair priced. I can’t ask for a better service! Thank you cut back taxes!

Tim was amazing! I was pretty last minute with my taxes & I had A LOT to include in the whole thing.
I also know nothing about taxes, so he was super helpful breaking it all down. He got it done in perfect time, was reasonably priced, super patient, & really did a great job (even found some deductions from previous years that I had forgotten all about!).
I will def. be using Tim as my tax guy from here on out.

First off I want to say that had I known Cut Back Taxes was searchable on Unilocal I would have written something years ago. Tim has been doing my taxes for about six years now; even before Cut Back Taxes was conceived. Tim has always been very knowledgeable and thorough. He is quick to respond to your inquiries and extremely patient when explaining the processes and pertinent information involving the transaction. Near or far he can help and the paperwork when finished is nice and neat and ready for download to be filed away on your computer. I highly recommend you give Tim a chance.

I have been using Cut Back Taxes for over 3 years now. My husband owns his own business and I am a school teacher. They were extremely knowledgeable of all the deductions my husband was entitled to and also found some educator deductions for me. We are looking to buy another home and they took all the necessary steps to prepare us for our future purchase. My husband and I have been extremely impressed by the professionalism/​knowledge, speedy turnaround time, and affordability of their services. This was the first year my wife and I could not do our own taxes. She started her own business this year and when tax time came around things got confusing. Tim was so patient and helpful with all of our questions. He explained how deductions work and what I could do the following year in order to get a larger return. He made sure we were comfortable with what we were filing and was very detailed in all of his explanations. He definitely has my family’s best interest in mind.
