One of the words I would use to describe Donna is gentle. She is gentle with her words and Un like other therapist she does not work your abdomen like a rubber tire. She really knows how to perfectly massage the body in a gentle calming manner that allows the body to release and let go.

This was my second colon hydrotherapy session ever and first with Dona, so I had an idea of what to expect. It is still an unpleasant feeling, but Dona made me feel quite relaxed and comfortable. As a yogi and massage therapist, my breathing practices were also quite useful. Dona has such a beautiful little space to work her magic. It turns out we many many mutual friends and share many of the same philosophies on healing and «letting go.» I am more committed now than ever to cleansing my body, especially my colon so that I can better absorb the nutrients that my body needs and more efficiently release waste. This was my first colonic hydrotherapy session ever, and I can’t express how grateful I am that I chose to see Dona for it. She’s very human in her approach to her profession, as well as knowledgable and skilled. I was feeling pretty awkward when I arrived, but a few moments in her presence and I felt very comfortable with her. She explained what to expect, showed me the equipment, and then did her thing. I feel better for having had the procedure, and I’m sure that Dona’s approach is a part of that.

I had a colonic today, and well they aren’t very comfortable – let’st just face it. But, you want to have a colonic — and want to feel comfortable… Donna is a good start. I went there after a quick search on the internet… I read reviews on Unilocal that said she was nice and good — and I took a gamble letting her put a tube — you know where!
I will go back to her for another colonic. She’s considerate. Her space is clean and cozy and smells good. She massages your legs and stomach during the colonic. It can be uncomfortable and she’s very respectful of when you need space or to slow down, etc. She’s attentive.
Again, a colonic is not like going to Disney Land. But, I recommend her if you’re looking for one.

I never thought I’d be saying this about a colonic but because Dona is such a lovely person to be around she makes the whole experience almost enjoyable.

That was my first hydrotherapy in December 2011. After I looked up in Unilocal,I called around several places and left massages. Donna was the only one that called me back in 30 mins. First, she asked few questions about general health. I told her that I felt so foggy and overwhelming with toxin. She offered to come in after hour so I can get start off right away. Donna is very knowledgable and having extensive experience, She is a comfy person to discuss health issues with.
The place is clean, nice and cozy. Tubings are new and disposable. Before the session, she gave the simple instructions. During the session, aromatherapy and massage are given additionally for relaxation. Donna is very sensitive to the needs and responses that occurred during the session. That was the smooth session. I ended up doing 3 sessions package, which I think it’s well worth it. A couple bucks more than other places and couple miles longer drive, but I usually not so worry when it comes to health and wellness. Plus, Encinitas is a nice neighborhood to hang out anyway.
I will definitely go back to this place.

Dona is wonderful! She immediately put you at ease, which is something you absolutely need when someone is about to insert an object in your butt.
She knows exactly what to do to help you retain the water as long as possible in order to get the best results. She also gives you massages to help «things» move along. She is very alert to you and your response, which is essential in this process.
I always have meaningful conversations with Dona about spiritual concept, people and ideas, that’s just an extra bonus. Dona is compassionate, kind, sweet and very cool. I highly recommend her.
