The mechanics here really know what they are doing, they are so good at diagnosing the problem, and will never make a repair which is not needed. Expert mechanics. For my two old cars, my work van and my Honda, they do all the repairs. I was there for both cars last week (when it rains, it pours), with Roger at the desk and Will doing the repairs. Can’t recommend them enough. Top notch mechanics and front desk.

This place rules. I was so happy to have been referred to Harris’s shop after a bad tow job. As a single mom who knows nothing about auto’s I had planned on being ripped off. Nothing of the sorts occurred in this shop. Everyone was friendly, informative, and best of all FAIR when it came to prices. These guys kept me informed, fixed the problems and had me back on the road in no time. I’m confident I have a place to go if I ever need any auto related work done again. Thank you!

My car’s radiator hose busted open on my way to work in the early afternoon. Not being from Encinitas, I took a chance on these guys and had my car towed to Harris’s shop; the decision couldn’t have been better. They were honest, professional, and efficient. After explaining I was late to work (thanks to my car breaking down), they had my car finished and as good as new in less than an hour. They even offered a military discount. Highly recommended and thanks for your help, guys!

Our radiator blew while camping. Took truck to Harris radiator. Chris was very nice and took a look right away at the truck. She got us in the very next morning and had it replaced by lunch time. Service was awesome and good pricing. We highly recommend them.

First know your going to have to pay $ 102.50 to have them check your car. It’s not free? We we’re told it would be a $ 160.00’to have the radiator flushed and a new cap. Picked up the truck they charged extra bill was $ 298.46. Really? nI am giving a 3 due to staff is very polite.

Honest, helpful, friendly, reliable, fair & affordable! Highly recommend them, & will bring our other 4 cars to them. They worked on the electrical system for my son’s ’70 bug; simple wiring, but previous owner had screwed it up. Instead of replacing everything & charging for new, they used existing parts that were in good shape & repaired what really needed to be. I can’t say enough great things about the shop and dealing with Will was awesome! I ask them for referrals to body shops for or beetles & Will is always helpful with information & recommendations. 10 star service if I could rate more stars!

I found Harris Radiator Works this weekend when I was told my radiator was «busted» by a well known service shop Not knowing exactly where to turn, I started searching the internet and came up with a few local places. Harris Radiator replied to me extremely fast, and offered the best quote. In less than 24 hours after dropping my car off it was running like new. I am 100% satisfied with their service and prices.
The customer service (from Will in particular) is top notch, and they stayed in contact with me about the progress of my car via phone or email.
I give them my highest recommendation, and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

My battery died and I pulled into Harris to have them look at it. They diagnosed the problem and had my new battery in the next day. They also had the battery covered by the warranty. Overall I had a professional experience.

Support small local business and take your vehicle to Harris (’cause we all know that dealerships suckballs when it comes to customer service and price).
William has been working on my car since I’ve owned it and I’ve never had any problems. He is great at letting me know what is time sensitive and what can wait a little while – or will flat out tell me when something is not needed (unlike other shops that want to take you for all you have in the bank). He has always been right on the mark with his information and car maintenance/​repair timeline – as a result I’ve never had any issues with my car!
Ooohhhh…AND they are in an awesome location right off Hwy 101 which makes it great to drop off your vehicle and walk around in Encinitas for the day – no getting a ride to and from, which I think is ALWAYS a pain (Eat at Peace Pies down the street! Mmmm!)

Attention, this place has changed hands. The new owner is «Matt», and he runs a fabulous shop. I brought in my beast to be diagnosed and fixed, and they did a great job. Their explanation of the work was very good, it was done on time, and they charged a good price. I am very impressed. I will be using them in the future. Use Matt at Harris with confidence.
