Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Haug graduated from U.C. Davis with honors and a bachelor’s degree in physiology. He graduated from the U. C. Berkeley School of Optometry in 1993, and has since been practicing in North County San Diego. Dr. Haug has received special certification to diagnose and treat a wide variety of eye diseases, including glaucoma. He has also received special certification for treatment of dry eye disease and performance of minor surgical procedures. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the San Diego Optometric Society, and Seacoast Community Church. Dr. Haug’s wife Deborah is also an optometrist, and they have a practice together in Encinitas. He enjoys golf, horseback riding, outdoor activities, and is the proud father of two boys.
