I recently purchased my first house and the landscaping was lacking to say the least. My wife and I wanted our house to stand out so we started to research landscape lighting. We started calling around for quotes and talked a few places before we were referred to Lighting Distinctions. Boy was that a blessing… Joel, the owner was amazing! He was so knowledgeable in an area where we didn’t know much. He told us all about the different landscape lighting and we ultimately decided on LED lights. Joel had many choices for LED lights and the prices we 30% cheaper than the other two stores we visited. The process was seamless from start to finish and our house looks amazing now! Would definitely refer our friends here in the future. If you need any kind of lighting or have any questions, Joel is your man.

I had an excellent experience with this business and the owner Joel. I called late last week and explained what I needed to Joel, who transferred me to his assistant Liz to set up an appointment to come to my house. Joel, Liz and the electrician whom Joel has worked with for many years came to my house today. Everyone was on time and very friendly. I needed under-​cabinet lights for my kitchen and outdoor lighting installed. Joel was very informative and knowledgeable, taking time to explain and give me different options to choose from. I am very happy with Joel’s expertise and service, and how quickly they were able to come to my house. Liz and the electrician were also a pleasure to work with.

I have never given 1 star before as I never like to focus on the negative. But Lighting distinctions has not given me anything to praise. It’s October. I ordered and paid for a light bulb for my fridge in June. I still don’t have my light bulb. Every time I go in to inquire about it and ask why I never received a call about it I am told that they forgot to order it. The promise they will personally order it this time, and then it doesn’t get ordered again. 7 trips into the store so far… and they won’t give me a refund. Terrible customer service– they honestly act like they just don’t care about their customers– that is what is most frustrating.
