Pacific Physical Therapy is as best as it gets! I have been a patient for over 6 months and I am forever grateful for the outstanding service they have provided everyday in the office. Melissa Jacka and her colleagues are extensively qualified and understanding of patients needs and goals. They treat injuries with concern and provide the best care in bringing one back to full recovery. Melissa has provided the best treatment after my shoulder surgery and makes every visit fun and enjoyable. She takes the time to listen and focus all her attention on patients while with them. The office is very professional and clean while giving off a comfortable vibe. I am positive that with their help I will make a full recovery and cannot thank Melissa and Evan enough for their help. I will miss them when I am done! I would highly recommend Pacific Physical Therapy to anyone who wants the best service!

Melissa Jacka is an excellent physical therapist! I received superb care from Melissa Jacka at Pacific Physical Therapy twice: this year, 2015 and in 2010. Once for a knee rehab and for my left shoulder.
In past years I’ve had experience with 3 other physical therapy practices in Carlsbad + Encinitas. All 3 were staffed with inexperienced people and poorly managed. I tell everyone who asks – the only North San Diego County Physical Therapist I trust is Pacific Physical Therapy, Melissa Jacka in Encinitas. She ensures the support team is well-​trained! She is an über professional.

Katie, Katie, Katie… why is it always Katie? Thank goodness it is always Katie Klarer! In my opinion, the best therapist ever! I am a frequent flyer from Carlsbad. Katie has helped rehabilitate 3 different injuries in the last year. I so look forward to my sessions with her. She truly listens to your concerns and adapts to your every need. She knows how to inspire you so that you can heal in record time. My personal life and work center around outdoors activities. I would travel across the country to work with her, if needed. No need to ever go anywhere else, Her chuckle says it all!

As a 62 year old woman challenged with Fibromyalgia and some other issues, I am no stranger to PAIN. Desperate for relief from the extreme pain in my shoulder, neck and scapula, the referral to Pacific Physical Therapy, by the fantastic Orthopedic physician Dr. Patrick Padilla (same location), was exactly what I needed!
Diagnosis was quick, and treatment immediate. I needed HELP, and the AWESOME team of Melissa and Evan, at Pacific Physical Therapy, provided the information and assistance needed, to get me on the road to recovery. I understand it will take hard work and commitment on MY part, if my issues are to continue improving, and I will follow their instructions to a tee!
My pain was reduced with Ibuprofen (from Dr. Padilla), and I was able to receive some healing therapy and excellent instruction regarding strengthening exercises, from Melissa and Evan.
Melissa and Evan make an outstanding therapy team, at Pacific Physical Therapy! While teaching me how to care for myself, you both made me feel so much better… And your humor helped take the edge off of being in pain. I would also like to thank Gay Lee (sp?), Melissa’s substitute Therapist, for her terrific work, on my initial visit. You are ALL outstanding and very caring, which helps tremendously with improving a patient’s state of mind, leading to quicker recovery.
The Front Desk and support staff at both Dr. Padilla’s Office and Pacific Physical Therapy are exemplary! They are ALL efficient, caring and friendly!

This may sound crazy, but please consider including Pet Therapy, as part of your program?! If you had a non-​shed, trained Therapy dog on site, to help patient’s focus on something other than their pain, it could be quite beneficial. As a Volunteer at Kaiser Permanente, and the Humane Society, in Santa Clara, CA, I made this same recommendation (complete with written procedures), to which they responded with ACTION… Kaiser now has a thriving Pet Therapy Program, which absolutely aides in expedited patient recovery!
