Peaceful Paws Pet Cremation and Memorials

With great sadness, we had to help our 20 year old beloved cat, Dino, cross the Rainbow Bridge. The most difficult and unbearable decision we animal lovers face. We had our vet handle the private cremation with Peaceful Paws. About 6 days later, the vet called to let us know Dino’s cremains were ready to be picked up. I did not realize we would be receiving a clay paw print and a clipping of hair, was a wonderful surprise. The cedar box is lovely with a heart shaped tag with Dino’s name on it. There was a card attached that has a little heart-​shaped disc that you plant and grows into wildflowers. I am very pleased with this cremation company.

My sweet baby girl was hit by a car and passed away. I called crying and barely able to speak. I was give professional service from that moment until the end. They picked the body up from the shelter the next day and It took 5 days to receive the remains back. I had scheduled a time for pick up but my newborn was sick and needed to go to the ER so I had to cancel last minute. They were very nice and called the next day to reschedule. Gabby delivered and se was really sweet. Although I wish I never had to use their services, I am glad they were there for us when we needed it. The box is nice and the pawprint is special to me.

Received my little girl back yesterday and was so happy to see how she was treated. Thank you so much for everything that was done and now I can still have her close by. This is the only way I would have my animals treated at the end of their lives. This is the humane way as far as I am concerned. Thank you for giving me such a beautiful closure to a bad and sad ending. Love everything you have given me for a special little girl. Rest in Peace Chloe you will be missed.

I had my almost 16 year old cat went to rest recently. I got her from Humane society when she was a few weeks old and could sit on my hand. When her ashes came back from Peaceful Paws, I was moved that they thought of clipping a bit of her fur and took a paw print. After she left my house, I was thinking I would never stroke her head and feel her fluffiness or see how big her paw was, so it was unexpected surprise. I forgot all about it at the end of her life when she was so old and sick. I knew her ashes would come back to me, but seeing her furs and paw print, at least i could keep memories of her when she was with me. Thank you so much for sending my Pui chan off.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this company. Adriana is an attentive, caring and patient soul. I lost my best friend Sasha, a mini schnauzer, and I was devastated. She listened to me, helped me make decisions that were so traumatic for me and she made me feel so supported through every step of the way. When Sasha returned home to me her urn was perfect. This company is top notch. For that horrid day you need to choose a crematorium, look nowhere else.

We had to make the decision to let our Siamese cat Lilly cross over the Rainbow Bridge this month. Peaceful Paws handled her after care and did a beautiful job. I called to see about getting her paw print made into a necklace and the girl who answered was wonderful. They had everything ready to go in two weeks. I wish we didn’t know who Peaceful Paws are, but I’m glad we used them.

We have used Peaceful Paws for a few years now. The review posted on 5÷14÷15 about a pet being cremated as a communal rather than a private was due to a misunderstanding with our hospital and had nothing to do with Peaceful Paws. They are a reputable, honest and caring company with a wonderful staff.

I let my beautiful English Springer Spaniel go 2 weeks ago. Her remains went to Peaceful Paws, and they delivered her ashes back to me today.
I cried in sadness, but also in GREAT joy because of the way they handled Emily’s ashes. They came in an absolutely beautiful little box with her paw print and a lock of her hair. The card came with a little paper heart implanted with wildflower seeds which one can plant as a remembrance. This TRULY touched me as we let her go in a field of flowers.
Right then and there, I KNEW they handled her with care and dignity. I was so relieved to know that they took care of my beloved girl.

We had to put down our beloved 10 year old chihuahua Frijol, and the emergency center we went to works with Peaceful Paws. After about 9 business days, we got the phone call that our pets cremains were ready to be delivered. We received a beautiful wooden box, tag, locks of his hair, paw print, and card. All delivered to us over an hour away from them! They helped relieve some of the stress of this difficult time.

This is my first review of anything ever but I had to tell the next pet parent that this is the best place to work with after the passing of a beloved pet. I picked out my beautiful wrinkly dauschound Lady when I was 10 years old and she lived with me until I was 26. When I talked to the receptionist to make arrangements for lady’s body, she was very sympathetic and it felt like she truly cared for my pet. When we went in, they did exactly as I asked them to and let me stay with the body throughout the process. The workers all treated her body with respect and love, even after she was ashes. I would recommend this place to any pet parent who wants to make sure their baby is at peace. This process really helped me feel as though lady’s body had been restored back into nature and is now able to rest. She deserved the best and that’s what I feel she received with peaceful paws.

Mike and Adrianna, of Peaceful Paws, were phenomenal during this trying time. When the time came to have our beloved 13 year old Rottweiler, Mooskie, euthanized in order to relieve his pain we chose to have the procedure done at home. The veterinarian came to the house and Mike quietly waited outside for nearly an hour while we said goodbye. Mike carefully took Mooskie with him back to Peaceful Paws and assured us that he would be taken care of. A few days later my husband and I went to pick up Mooskie’s cremains and were met by both Mike and Adrianna. They both expressed their condolences in a way that felt really genuine, like only a true animal lover could. We were presented with a beautiful wooden box containing Mooskie’s cremains and two paw impressions in clay. They did two because they noticed that Mooskie was missing a digit on his right paw due to a previous bout with cancer. This kind of personalized attention to detail provided us with a cherished keepsake that we were too overcome to ask for in the moment. I took my friend’s cat to her vet as the cat was dying at age 20. The plan was to have the cat cremated and the cremains returned to the vet’s office for me to pick up. I talked from the vet’s office to a lady at Peaceful Paws and was treated very nicely. I was clear that my phone was to be called and I would pick it up. They made a gross error and called my friend who was not prepared for the call. Very upsetting to her. I had clearly told them not to call her and they confirmed they had my number and would call me. I left a message today but have not been called back. Mistakes in communication like this shouldn’t happen.

Thankyou Peaceful Paws, losing my best friends was the worst experience ever as of now. It’s been close to 3 months and now we our ready to write our review. THANKYOU VERY MUCH for giving me and my family comfort, when «Werita» passed I did not know what to do because I did not want to have her body moved from place to place, her spinal cord hernia had her in sooooooo much pain the last thing I wanted was to be moving her from one place to another. Pets are Part of our family and should have a decent service for them also, «WERITA» filled our home and souls of pure unconditional love and its almost 3 months and even tough her body is not here her spirit is always in our home (Weritas home). I recently lost my Basset Hound, Jenna and was faced with the decision of how to handle her cremation. In the past, I’ve let my personal vet handle it and I’ve picked up the cedar urn less than two weeks later.
This time, my experience was far different from the past. My dog was pronounced DOA by the doctors at Crossroads Animal Emergency Clinic and they highly recommended Peaceful Paws Cremation Services to me. They told me that this company was started by a woman who had a bad experience with a cremation service of her personal pet. She wanted to provide pet owners with quality service during these unfortunate, sad times in their lives.
I received a phone call from Peaceful Paws yesterday and they were willing to deliver my baby girl’s remains to our home during a two hour window. That was when their driver was going to be in the area in which I reside. Unfortunately, I was going to be at work during that time frame so we had to come up with another option. They were willing to deliver to my work location but that wouldn’t work because I’m an elementary school teacher. So another option that I had was to have them drop her remains off at my regular veterinarian’s office.
So today, I was prepared to bring my dog’s urn home and I can say that I was blown away by what I saw. First of all, her cedar urn is gorgeous. They had her name engraved on a doggie tag and it was attached to her urn. Peaceful Paws also made a clay imprint of Jenna’s paw and it’s true to size! What tugged at my heart strings was that they cut off some locks of her fur and placed them in a small baggie with her name on it!
Peaceful Paws is a company that really understands the pain that pet owners go through. They kept referring to my dog as «my baby» because as all pet owners know, they’re part of the family. She wasn’t returned via ups like some cheap package! They have their driver hand-​deliver your pet’s remains to your home, work location (if possible), or your personal veterinarian’s office. Finally, they add that personalized touch (clay paw imprint and lock of fur) to help keep your pet’s memory close to your heart. Not all cremation companies provide this type of service!
This is company that I would recommend to anyone who is faced with such a loss as I felt like they helped me work through a difficult situation. For the record, this service was $ 265 and it was worth every penny!

Anyone who knows us, knows Kiba was more than just our pet and family member – our lives revolved around him.
It was by chance that we used Peaceful Paws – the Pet Emergency Hospital had an arrangement with them. I was a bit skeptical to entrust my precious family member to someone new, but was glad that we did. I have nothing against the previous places we took our pets, but the extra steps that Peaceful Paws takes really meant a lot during this difficult time.
After a phone call confirming our address and that someone would be home for his return, their personal driver brought him back. He was returned in a beautiful cedar box with red heart name tag, a lock of his fur, and an imprint of his paw print. Small mementos that we didn’t think to take when he was with us, but so glad to have now.
Peaceful Paws treated Kiba with the same importance that we did, and we plan to use them for all future pets. Thank you for making saying good bye a little easier.

The folks at Peaceful Paws are amazing in that the level of care they offer to pet parents in mourning is without parallel. We have used them twice; our search for a pet mortuary was prompted by some horrific experiences we had with their principal competitor. The staff is extremely patient and understanding. I came close to breaking down when I called there to make arrangements, and each time the person on the other end of the phone waited quietly for several minutes until I pulled myself together and was able to continue. The staff at my vet’s office commented on how professional their driver was, that he came in a clean van that was specifically outfitted to transport our animals’ remains, and how they wore clean uniforms and handled the animals’ bodies with the same care and respect we would expect from someone handling remains of our human family members. Our dogs’ remains were returned to us in beautiful cedar boxes, sealed up with a gold tone pad lock, with a red metal heart-​shaped tag with their name engraved on it. All this came in a purple netting bag. They also include a casted pawprint and a hair clipping, and in the condolence card they send back is a small heart made of mulch fiber impregnated with wildflower seeds to plant in your kids’ memory. Such kindness and attention to detail is rarely seen in services directed to human family members. Knowing that the Peaceful Paws people will be there the next time we need them is a great comfort and I recommend them to anyone who will ever need their services.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a few months now.
I brought my baby Micheal here after a painful decision to put him to sleep so he could avoid a long battle with throat cancer (or suffocating from the tumor). Micheal was 19 years old and my first pet — I picked him out of a cardboard box in front of a store when I was 5. He still means the world to me, so giving him the absolute best was of the utmost importance.
Quite frankly, I don’t think anyone really knows what to do when their first pet has passed away. You’re really just in shock, so the last thing you really want to do is make difficult decisions regarding your pet’s remains.
While there was the option to have the vet and facility handle this all without us, we didn’t like the idea of having him sit in a freezer until pick-​up some days later. We chose this facility because you have the option of driving there yourself and having something of a ceremony where you can reserve the entire place for yourselves.
Again, Micheal is our baby, so we only wanted the absolute best. We drove from the vet’s straight to the Peaceful Paws facility, where they were ready and waiting. Anthony and Vivianne received us and asked us to lay Micheal out on a table with a comfortable body pillow. He looked really peaceful — as if he was sleeping on the pillow at home. They had coffee and tea available and a lot of literature on coping with the loss of a pet.
I guess I didn’t expect the level of care and compassion that we received. Instead of a cold and clinical take, Vivianne and Anthony were kind. They asked me how old my baby is, complimented him and how pretty he looked. They ALWAYS referred to Micheal as «your baby», which I really appreciated, and they NEVER used past tense (i.e., your baby IS beautiful, how old IS your baby, etc.). It’s…those little things that made me appreciate them.
They asked me if I wanted to keep any of his fur clippings and asked me which paws I wanted to make a plaster impression of. We also chose to get necklaces with his nose/​paw imprint.
I will note that, since I named my cat when I was 5, my spelling wasn’t the best. I kept the spelling of his name as «Micheal» on purpose. They made it very clear to each other that Micheal is spelled that way and warned each other not to misspell anything. This was such a relief to me, because I really didn’t want to fight over something like spelling on such a day.
When we were ready, we carried him to the oven. We said one last goodbye and placed him inside ourselves. We watched everything from start to finish — we put him in, we watched him come out, we watched the entire process. We wanted to be 100% certain that the cremains we were receiving were Micheal’s. Even through this process, Anthony explained step-​by-​step, using «your baby» and present tense.
One thing I noticed is that they covered any other animals they were preparing with blankets so that they were not visible. I can’t even begin to describe how much I appreciated that.
They were so professional and compassionate. I felt like they really cared about us and Micheal. They would make nice comments like «wow, he’s so beautiful» and «19 years?! He looks like he’s 8!». I mean, it was as good of an experience as I could ever have had when cremating my child. They put up with me sobbing and running out every so often to just bawl. I felt very taken care of at this facility.

I can’t say I enjoyed that day, but you and your team made it stress-​free and inviting. I don’t hope to have to do this again for a very long time, but I will be coming back when I do.

I think I have written maybe 3 reviews ever, but feel it is fitting for such a wonderful place. They deserve 10 stars in my book. While it is difficult enough to put a pet to sleep, I found immense comfort when I went to pick up my big guy’s ashes today. I never imagined that I would receive such a well thought out, beautiful and beyond perfect memorial. So for that, thank you Peaceful Paws, your service was exemplary! RIP sweet NICO!

Peaceful Paws helped me honor my rabbit’s death in a dignified, respectful, and caring manner. It was befitting of the unconditional love he had given me. I miss him but I can rest in peace knowing he is no longer in pain and suffering. I am grateful and humbled by the 13 years of his journey in life that we shared together.
