Established in 2000.

I am an X Chef and Restaurant General Manager who worked for large Corporate chains for 24 years circling the globe… I decided to return to San Diego in 2000 to be closer to family and friends and start a business of my own. This guy is awesome! Showed up on time and arrived with a professional vehicle and most importantly a great professional attitude. Michael knows what he’s doing and took the right amount of time to make my black vehicle shine (black paint is the true test for a detailer). I would highly recommend Pristine Auto Detail!

Michael did a fabulous job on my car’s interior! My car’s seat fabric will stain when water touches it, so you can imagine how everything looked considering I’ve practically lived in my car for the past 5 years! Makeup, drinks, etc… Michael made it look new! Great pricing and very friendly. Will definitely be calling him again!

Michael is a lifesaver! I spilled a large coffee all over my front seat, steering wheel, driver’s side door and floor mat. The stain was large, dark, sticky and the smell of coffee completely overwhelming. I called him and he was at my house within the hour and did a very thorough shampoo on the entire area. The stain in completely gone as is the odor. Michael is very personable and highly professional. Thank you Michael!

All I can say is WOW! My car was filthy inside and out and full of dog hair, stains from the dog, and scratches. When Michael finished his complete detail on my car it looked like it had just came off of the showroom floor! I just couldn’t believe it. Michael was personable, professional and right on time. W.O.W. stands for «what outstanding work»!
Michael arrived on time and made my luxury sedan shine. Literally. I am quite maniac about the cleanliness of my car for my business (I got to clients and I have a toddler and infant) and, based on the reviews from other Unilocalers, I took a gamble on Michael and we won. He cleaned my dirty car (he said it wasn’t bad, but in my mind it was gross). He made the paint silky smooth, the interior leather very clean, and the sandy carpet and trunk cleans as (dare I say cleaner than) the day I bought it. He also removed the random black scuff marks on my WHITE car. It smells brand new and very clean.
Michael also recommended that change the cabin air filter to make it smell even better (why didn’t I think of that before!?) and walked around pointing everything out that needed attention or that he had worked on.
He guaranteed the service, said he would come back even for the smallest thing to reconcile it within two days, and honored the $ 40 Unilocal deal. He quoted high on the phone, but came at half of the quote the day of. He moved quick for all that he did. He even cleans the key holes, people!
I am so glad we called Michael. He’s very professional, zealous about his work and car detailing, and friendly. We’ll certainly be calling Michael again.

6 Stars. I saw Michael’s truck in Coronado one day when I was on the island. Since I hadn’t been happy with the previous detail jobs on my car, I wrote down the number, checked him out online and gave him a call. I took a chance and boy did it pay off!
Michael has now been detailing my car for the last 3 years. He is a pleasure to deal with, reliable and does an incredible job. He works with high quality materials and will accept nothing less than complete customer satisfaction. Compared to other detailers, dollar for dollar, Michael’s attention to detail both outside and inside the car makes his service the best value by far. In this business, you do get what you pay for. I (and you) will never have anyone else detail your car, ever.

Pristine Mobile Detail is the best mobile detailing service in North County.
To start, Michael is a stand up guy that will not sugarcoat the truth just to capture a job. If he says he can do something, he’ll do it (and that includes being punctual to an appointment). Conversely, if you’re asking for results that are beyond his means of delivery, he’ll say that too (and in my case, had even to passed up the work to another local shop to make sure I was covered during my first call to him). This etiquette of honesty is unparalleled especially in the automotive industry (per my experience).
I cannot comment on the pricing as his pricing seems to be on par with other detailers in the area — however, if you consider how much your time, and if you value that time to have a job done right the first time, and then you’ll likely side with the fact that Michael’s rates are well worth its weight in gold.
Thanks to Pristine Mobile DetaiI, I now have a black Tacoma that probably looks better than it did when it was sold to me off the lot.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Michael for rescuing my Mom car last minute. I had to get out of town on a business trip last minute and hand my car over to my husband for a week. I only purchased my car new 4 months earlier. I did not want my husband to lecture me about not caring for my cars interior and needed a quick miracle. I pulled up my Unilocal app on the way to work and checked out about 3 mobile detailers. Michael retuned my call within minutes and luckily had time for me the same day. My car war retuned to me unrecognizable! Thank you so much for your flexibility and skill and for making my ride so much more enjoyable. Five starts for sure!

Just got back from living in Pittsburgh and moving back home to San Diego. My Mini Cooper needed a good wash & detail to get rid of the bad Pittsburgh joojoo. Michael did a fantastic job! He spent roughly 3 hours on my car, getting him all back to a shiny, happier condition. The interior is like new and the outside feels silky and clean to the touch. He was able to get rid of some small brush markings left by a Pittsburgh drive through car wash and pointed out two areas on the roof, where something had happened previously. He tried a few things to remove it, but it had «etched» the plastic there. Very thorough in his work and I like someone that will point things out even if they tried and weren’t able to remove them. On top of his excellent work, he is incredibly pleasant and a pleasure to chat with too! Call him for your auto detailing needs. He’s the guy.

Time for detailing the silver baby again.
Michael is so very reliable, and in my book that is the number one concern. He always shows up on time, is pleasant to work with, and does a great job. For $ 40, he even came over once and washed the car. It was really a mini detail, nothing like the quick job at the car wash.
This is my go-​to guy to keep my car lookin’ good.

Someone cancelled so he was actually able to come out same day.
