Russ was punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. I needed 2 drywall patch repairs done, and he did a great job, for a very reasonable price.

Miracle worker… Installed a microwave that we purchased from Home Depot. Actually paid Home Depot to install it, but they would not install microwave, because they saw that tile ran up behind it. Gave a call, left a message, and crossed my fingers that he wasn’t so busy. He called back and accepted the job. Along with replacing and fixing the old leaky knobs in our bathroom, and fixing loose faucet in the kitchen. I’m so happy with his work, and I would recommend him to anyone. I kept his business card on the fridge, and will be calling back for more work.

Super impressed by quality, speed and price! Had a list of projects and they were quickly checked off my list.

Called these guys 3 times for a quote, still no call back a week later.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal I called Russ. He was able to come today, he was easy to work with, reasonable and completed the jobs quickly. In my business I often need people who can perform any number of jobs — I will definitely give Russ a call again.

Russ came out to our home today. I called him Wednesday and he was able to come Thursday afternoon. He was prompt and responsive. His work was professional and he cleaned up like he was never here. He was polite and very efficient. I asked him to come back next week for additional work. He seems to be able to handle most handyman needs… in our case hanging a large flat screen tv (including the install of a rotating bracket mount), hanging a shelf, moving and re hanging some light fixtures and making a pony-​bar. His prices are VERY reasonable. More than fair. I would highly recommend him.

Russ is great! We had a small repair we needed done in our home, and he came out, looked at the problem, gave me a super low estimate and scheduled a time to do the work. He came back when he said he would, and did a very good repair job. He was personable, friendly and nice, which I cannot say about many contractors we’ve hired over the years. Will absolutely call him again if we need any other small jobs done around the house.

Russ is the BEST! I discovered water damage on an inside, exterior wall of my garage. A bunch of stuff had been leaning against that wall, so I don’t know how long this moisture had been accumulating. My friend had patched it the day before, and I thought he knew what he was doing … it would be OK… Ha! I went out to prime the area before painting it when the patch started falling off in my hands. The wall was still wet. Why? Do I have a plumbing leak? Is this a sprinkler problem? The more I peeled back the wall, the worse it got. Nails were rusty. The whole wall was disintegrating in my hands! I freaked. I don’t have the money to fix a whole wall, and I certainly don’t have enough money for a major plumbing issue. I used Unilocal and Angie’s List to try to track down a reliable handyman. The more messages I left, the more panicked I became. Russ called back. He said he heard the desperation in my voice, and said he’d stop by on the way to another job. Russ was calm and sensible — a good balance for overwhelmed, stressed-​out me. Russ inspected the wall and determined it was very unlikely that it was a pipe issue. All indicators pointed to sprinklers overshooting the mark. Russ explained exactly what I needed to do and offered creative, inexpensive solutions which even I could implement. He even gave me a tool to spread the joint compound! I did what he said, and I’ll keep an eye on it for any further water intrusion. If I DO need to replace part of the wall, I know exactly who to call. Oh — and the best part — Russ was willing to provide all this great information (and his shoulder to cry on) for no cost! I insisted on paying him and gave him all the cash I had in my wallet — which wasn’t nearly what his time was worth. Thanks, Russ!

Russ did not «doodle» nor waste time or money. He arrived on time, completed all projects, and even had time to say hello to my reserved, discerning puppy. Russ is the first visitor he didn’t bark at! Wow! Quick, clean, efficient, pleasant, interesting, and reasonably priced. If you’ve got projects, call Russ– you’ll be writing the next great review!

My 87 year old mother lives just 10 minutes away and every time she calls with a FIX-​IT problem Russ is the guy I call. Sure I can do most of this stuff myself. but he is faster, cleaner, stronger and keeps my mom off my back. Makes sense to me. Call Russ and you will not find a better handyman or FIX-​IT Friend. Plus he has some cool Tools. Lots of them.

Russ Garcia is the best handyman around. I had him out to look at a rotten fascia that 2 contractors said they wouldn’t do cause it was a total pain in the butt. Russ came out and had it finished in lass then 1.5 hrs. He is totally knowledgeable and works fast. You will never be disappointed with him.
