Repeat Boutique Consignments

Another consignment gem. I haven’t consigned any clothing here, but I picked up a St. John skirt for $ 35.00. A steal on a classic piece.
The gentleman running it is very friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of St. John and other high end garments, shoes and accessories.

My daughter works nearby at Jimbo’s so thought I would check this out. Have been twice now, both scored excellent pieces. They have revolving sales and discounts. Before I had gotten a beautiful mermaid hem style skirt I wore for Christmas to rave reviews. Yesterday I purchased a kimono style top/​jacket by Brandy Melville onsale for $ 12! score! Note I believe they also sell online as many items say «web» so they are web price savvy ie dont expect «goodwill» pricing. But their prices for what they have are, overall, very good and displayed in a boutique setting. Still hoping to snag a pair of Ugg’s in my size!

The owner is so pleasant and very helpful. Clothes is great and very good choices there for every occasion without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this place.

Found this boutique while doing a day of consignment shopping in the area. It is fabulous! I’ve been to other consignment stores that merchandise is damaged, has serious use, etc., but not here! The boutique is well organized and the clothes are in excellent condition. Jana and her husband are very knowledgable about their pieces as well. I also loved that Jana takes time to get to know you on a personal level. I live all the way down in Chula Vista but I can assure you that I will be visiting this place more often. I absolutely loved this place.

I found a handbag here I thought I would never see again, authentic and well priced.

I just pondered upon this fabulous find. Janna and Greg, the owners, were very inviting, unpretentious, never too busy for a $ 5 sale… they just gave off this wonderful vibe. On the outside, it’s an easy place to miss. But once you step inside, it’s a relatively large space with lots of merchandise. It looks like a beautiful boutique… like one of those high end vintage clothing boutiques you’d find in Paris. The merchandise is definitely mid to high end for the most part. They had Chanel suits, Etro blouses, Missoni dresses, and Louis Vuitton purses, to name drop a few. They also have Free People and Anthropologie but I’d say that’s their low end items. The prices are mid range but when you think about these one of a kind designer pieces, you’re getting a deal. And the best thing is, they have sales! They authenticate everything.
The best part about this boutique is that their items are so unique and unusual… like wearable art. Janna really knows how to choose pieces for the boutique and she obviously has consigners with great taste.
From the consignment end, I haven’t done that yet but their policy is the best one around. If, after the consignment period, they do not sell your item, you can come pick it up. It’s yours. They don’t keep it and they don’t automatically donate it to charity. Like I said, their policy is that the clothes are yours.

I have used Repeat Boutique many times to consign (mainly clothes). Jana is a delight to deal with and makes the transaction very easy and quick!
Have also purchased items as well. The owner’s are honest and really know their merchandise.

The very best consignment store I have ever visited! Unfortunately I live in Northern California, but have called and put in requests. Very nice staff and couldn’t have been more helpful. Fabulous deals on barely used, designer merchandise… run don’t walk!

Only been here once, didn’t find anything for me personally, but I stayed here for about 45 minutes just looking thru racks and trying on items. The staff was SUPER sweet, asking if I needed help every so often (the perfect amount without being over bearing or too busy to care). I was really impressed at the items I saw. Clean, organized and great prices! Everyone there was happy, having fun and enjoying themselves. I really like it and will be back time and time again. I know I’ll find something next time. :)

I love the jewelry they have there — from vintage to local artists.

I always bring my clothes here first to consign! They usually have a great selection so I love being able to switch out some clothes I don’t wear for some new ones! The staff is very friendly and they usually have some sort of sale going on which is nice too! Love this place!

Awesome place for designer clothes, shoes, and jewelry. There’s a great selection and the store is beautifully set up and organized. I love shopping here! I stop by every few weeks to see what’s new!

I stopped in here today for the first time after being referred to by many of my customers where I work (also a boutique store in Encinitas). I was looking for something specific (a Luis Vuitton bag for my moms birthday). The girl who was working showed me some great items but nothing that matched what I was looking for specifically. She then went above and beyond by asking the owner (Greg) in the back if they had anything to match what I was seeking that had not been merchandised yet. He brought out the perfect little Luis Vuitton bag! He explained that the zipper needed a minor repair and they would call me when it was ready.
I took a moment to browse the store and was pleasantly surprised by the plethora of unique selections. I could tell that they are precise about what they choose to re-​sell in the store and that is a GOOD thing for the consumer. Their selection of couture items at a fraction of the cost make this place so much fun to browse through.
As for the other reviews I read on here… small businesses such as this are successful for two reasons. One… customer service. You have to actually enter the business to experience that. And two… great merchandising that is BETTER than the selection than you can find in a major chain department store. So don’t feel offended if they choose not to re-​sell your items. And. I highly doubt they stole your jeans… I think they could afford to make an offer if they felt there was anything worthy of being placed on their shelves. Shame on you for making such an uneducated accusation.
Give this place a try :) you will be happy you did.

RIP OFF ARTISTS — avoid this place at all costs!
I live locally to this boutique and had both purchased and consigned with them in the past.
When they moved to their new larger digs in the same mini strip mall I was thrilled for them that their business was doing so well.
Well I had recently purged my closet AND my friend lost a little weight and gave me a load (and I mean 3 huge bags of clothes to try on). What didn’t fit me I figured I would consign with Repeat Boutique.
I had made an appointment but the day of the appt. I was strapped for time and I felt bad about cancelling or rescheduling it at the last minute. So I phoned and asked Jana Granton-​biz card I took from another time there-​the owner-​? if I could bring the bags in and they could look through them and let me know if any items were «re-​sellable». Some of my friends’ clothes were high-​end designer and, I must have had over 20 pair of jeans (heavy!) She said sure bring them in and by the way «we are not taking many jeans unless they are very current with pencil/​boot leg blah blah blah. Ok fine. I figure let them take a look we will go from there. So I dropped the bag off, struggling under the weight, to get it in their front door (I had hurt my shoulder). When I returned late that afternoon from my other appointments I was told «sorry we couldn’t find anything we can resell».
Really? I thought. Not a single blouse, top or pair of lined trousers? Well I figured they must know what they want or what they can resell but how odd. Her husband? (the older guy) offered to carry the bag to my car and I didn’t think another thing about it, other than being disappointed. There in my back seat, the bag sat for a few days until I had to remove it in my garage to put something else in the car. As soon as I picked up the bag I thought «whoa! where are all my clothes? The bag was light and I mean light! There were still enough items that is appeared somewhat full but I could lift the bag easily with one hand. I thought –you are kidding me and stood there a minute in disbelief; I had been ripped off! I was stunned. I took the bag inside and put the few clothes on my couch (see photos). Two thirds of the clothes were gone. I was shocked!
I went back in the store the very next day to talk to Jana to see what happened. Did they leave the bag at the front of the store and some slippery fingered customers helped themselves when their backs were turned? As soon as I got in the store and asked the young girl at the counter to speak with the owner the older guy was there, toward the back of the store, and heard me and he quickly slipped into a back room and hastily closed the door. Jana was not in, but the girl would have her call me when she was next in.
The next day I get a phone call from Jana…“no, we gave you back everything you brought in, blah blah blah. Maybe you took your things to another consignment store and/​or forgot where you took them?» I said, «Forgot them?! No. Your store is practically right in my neighborhood so no, I did NOT go anywhere else and those large, clear doubled bagged garbage bags weighed probably 12 pounds with all the jeans and clothes packed in. I would have carried it back out to my own car except for my injured shoulder and your husband offered to do so — BUT had I, I would have noticed right away the difference in weight.» She would not budge and insisted she gave me back everything I brought in. I guess I really expected some sort of rational excuse as to what could have happened, as I still did not want to think this store had truly stolen from me!
If only I had carried the bag back to my car I would have realized then and I would have made a scene then, but quite frankly my mind was preoccupied and when her husband or whomever the older guy is carried it for me, I naturally did not notice how little remained in the bag.
Do I blame myself? Of course. Shame on me for being so trust worthy — but I actually thought who, in this day and age (with the internet) would risk their reputation by ripping a customer off?! Apparently THIS store. I will never step foot inside again. Which is a shame.
And, if YOU have clothes to consign I would go any place else (My Sisters Closet right down the road on El Camino Real OR on the Coast Hwy, at D Street, on the east side of the Coast Hwy there is an awesome consignment store.
What goes around, comes around and I sure hope Repeat Boutique gets their just due.

Great brands, pricy though, but worth a good long look around! I have definitely found some wonderful pieces here, just wish the selection would change a bit more often!

I brought in some of my prebaby clothes for consignment. The owner was very nice and explained her very organized way of doing consignment so that I knew the process my clothes would go through. The selection of clothes is excellent with a lot of designer and vintage pieces. I’m very excited to return to shop at the store, especially in the evening gown section.

Love this place ! I have found so many cute, reasonable and not to mention clean clothes! Lots of designer clothes and so many vintage dresses! J. Crew, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Juicy, Ralph Lauren and list could go on! I have shopped at so many thrift stores and Consignment stores but by far I have found great deals here and everything is clean. And I love to consign my clothes here!

I have never been a fan of «used clothing.» Sorry but with all the discount stores out there, why buy used when you can have brand new? Right? Well then, you can just imagine my surprise when I found a Diane von Furstenburg vest WITH TAGS STILL ON.
YUP, ladies, tags still on, never been worn for under $ 60. Bought the vest without hesitation and had a great time in the store chatting it up with the nice ladies who work there.
