Save On Autos

I bought a car for my daughter here, a 2008 PT cruiser and she loves it. I went here on a whim because I had seen a few reasonably priced cars on Auto trader and had been looking for a few months for her first cars and the customer service was amazing. They were honest about what they were selling and even helped with insurance questions. Very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a good used car at a great price!

If I could give this place –10 stars it would deserve it! It has taken me a year to write a review based on the turmoil and financial burden I’ve been put through with my used lemon I bought last June 2014.
Let me tell you how it all started. My boy friend and I needed a good running car to get me around town, we found a fitting 2004 Toyota at save on auto. My boy friend took it for two test drive on two different days. We talk to the dealer who is the owner got the car facts (or so we thought). He told us how he replaced this that and the other. The interior needed some work as well as exterior but we decided that was where we would put our money into.
After three days of back and forth we finally made the deal a d spend about $ 5000 total.
Here is where it gets worse. We drive the card or two days when something went wrong and seemed like the engine had blown. We drove the car straight to save on auto and sure enough it was a BLOWN MOTOR. We demanded our money back the guy refused!!! He tried to blame us which was ludicrous because the car was barley driven In two days. After countless arguments the dealer tells us the car had been in an accident before tried to blame that. We never knew of this accident.
The dealer finally agreed to replace the engine on his cost but we would have to pay half of labor fees. Desperate we agreed. So we get a new motor from a company that he contacted (another scam company).
So car is running again we go 4 weeks and the motor blows AGAIN! I can’t bract the dealer and he says he will not help.
Since the problems with save on autos end there all I can tell you now is DO NOT DO NOT buy a used vehicle from this guy it is a total scam! Overall for a $ 5000 used car I have spent over $ 12,000. If only I could do it all over again!
Do your research and go to reputable businesses!

We bought a car several weeks ago from Save On Autos. This is a car lot that specializes in used cars. I know that it’s unusual to even think about a 5 star rating for a used car lot but this lot is absolutely the exception. We bought a 1996 Toyota Corolla and, because the owner wasn’t totally happy with the way it was running, he replaced the engine block, timing belt, water pump and repaired the door lock without adding to the price of the car! Except the door lock, he voluntarily did the rest of the repairs without being asked. Buying a used car generally is a horrible experience – stick a needle under my fingernails – but buying a car from this car lot was relatively painless!
