History

Established in 1975.

Shatto and Sons is a family owned establishment located along the Pacific coast Hwy in Leucadia, CA. We have been providing the community with quality T-​shirt art and other apparel for over 35 years, since our father Jim Shatto first opened the shop’s doors in 1975. Back then we were known as Deluxe Airbrush; everything we made was hand painted, and we quickly earned a name for ourselves. In the eighties and

nineties, our focus shifted from airbrush to silkscreen, in order to adapt to the evolving industry.

We changed our name to Shatto & Sons when two of the three Shatto boys began working part-time.These days were still in the same location and the shop is managed by Ryan, the oldest Shatto son. Jim retired in 2008. He’s still surfing regularly and has picked up sailing as well. He continues to do an airbrush painted calendar every year, a tradition he started in 1978. We offer unique and affordable clothing, with original designs depicting many of the local beaches in North County.
