These guys are the best! Their work is remarkable, they are welcoming and friendly and they always give you the best price! They’ve even waived my charges if they thought that the work was quick and easy! I’d never go anywhere else!

I almost without words after visiting this gem of an establishment for the first time today! Brothers George and Mario in Encinitas do live up to their legend! They kindly removed the old batteries carefully and professionally from several old but treasured watches of mine that I no longer wear and have placed in storage. Unbelievably, they adamantly and cheerfully refused to accept anything more than the nominal fee for the replacing the battery on just one of the watches! They are friendly, funny, professional and efficient– an absolute joy to interact with! From now on, I will never go anywhere else before Timekeepers in Encinitas if I have a problem with my watches or clocks.

The line outside the door on most days says it all. They are fair and knowledgable, the best possible combination when you are working on delicate instruments like watches. Very highly recommend them.

Timekeepers is the only place I go for anything watch or clock related. I’ll wait to replace watch batteries until I can make it over to Timekeepers even though there are at least a dozen places nearer to me. I once took a clock in for repair that had stopped working and was given an estimate of $ 20-$ 25. When I went to pick up the clock I was told there was nothing wrong with the clock, I had just pushed a pin in too tight. They wouldn’t let me give them any money at all though I really wanted to for taking up their time but they absolutely refused. Who does that anymore? Plus, they had put a battery in the clock and wouldn’t let me pay for it. Love those guys!

My fiancé stopped here on his way home the other day. He said the gentleman who helped him was helpful and friendly. Thank you so much! We will be returning to your store again in the future for our watch related needs!

This business encapsulates what we have lost in Encinitas and everywhere for that matter. A true Mom and Pop business with amazing service and heart. I hope places like this don’t completely disappear. The gentleman here fixed my watch very quickly. I asked how much and he kindly said, «Don’t worry about it.» I have been referring people since and will continue to bring my business here. Keep small and local businesses alive.

A watch and clock-lover’s dream come true, the Timekeepers offers amazing, quick, affordable services, from battery replacements and watch repairs to life-changing BLT Grandfather Clock repairs all performed with masterful, expert skill and backed by a good guarantee of customer satisfaction; though lines can get crazy for a battery replacement during busy hours, the fun, indoor settings(with lots of classic analog clocks, grandfather clocks, and cuckoo clocks) and fantastic customer service, quick turn around time, and afforable prices compensate and you can’t beat the value. The two men who run it are always jovial and courteous. I’ve come here on several different occasions for all types of watch repair work. The last time I brought my watch to repair the bracelet which had been broken. They repaired it right away. I tried to tip them, they didn’t accept the tip. I left it on the counter, and they told me «NOWAY. you’re not going to tip us for this easy fix. Save your money.» I’m always blown away and impressed by their generosity and the love they have for their work. My hat’s off to the two brothers who run this wonderful business. Cheers to the Timekeepers!

Came here twice already, the first time to get a watch sized for me and the second time a few months later to get a second watch fixed. I thought the second watch had needed a new battery so I originally went in to purchase one but they just did something to it which got it running again. Best part of these visits was I was not charged either time! I was also in and out within 5−10min which was very convenient. Will definitely be coming here for anything watch/clock related.

These guys have been here for a long time. I always recommend them to anyone needing watch or clock repair. They give very honest answers and are very knowledgeable. They really enjoy helping people and like giving them a good deal. I took my fiancé in today for a tank watch she said the back was falling off of all the time. The guy at Timekeepers said that whoever repaired it before used the wrong size gasket. He replaced the battery AND the gasket for $ 5. I forgot they don’t take plastic. When I said that I didn’t have the cash, he said«no problem, drop it off next time you’re around», which is really nice.(My fiancé had the dough however and we squared up).

Fast and professional service. In and out under 5 minutes on a Saturday morning. Two watch batteries replaced for $ 10. They have a lot of neat and fancy watch towers. Will be returning.

I’ve been going to Timekeepers for 18 yrs. They are honest, reliable, fast, & Sooo reasonably priced! I guess because other electronics repair places are so expensive Timekeepers seems so reasonable. But they really are! How many times have I gone in & had a link removed & the owner says, «it’s ok!» or a battery replaced in 5 mins & «$ 5»??? Awesome! We’ve brought grandfather clocks there, all our watches, and like other reviews say, if they can’t fix them up to the quality that they were before, they let you know right off the bat. They are always busy but that’s because everyone around knows how great they are. As busy as they are, they are always customer service oriented and always try to get to each person as quickly as possible. They acknowledge you right away regardless if there is 100 people in line or no one. I wouldn’t take my clocks or watches anywhere else.

My new go-to for watch repair place. Went in to get a link replaced that fell out of my chronograph MK watch with a metal band. The man looked at it, basically said” hold on a minute”, and not 2 minutes later hands me my repaired watch. When I asked«how much?» he answered«Nothing» with a smile. He also repaired a watch for an elderly couple in front of me, and charged them«Nothing» also. From that type of service, I will be back for all my repairs, and will refer clients to this business. 10 star.

I’ve been in for watch repairs a couple times over the years and they are the best! Very fast service! Even when there is a line a couple people deep, they work through it in no time. Friendly! Know their stuff about a variety of brands and types of watches. Prices are very reasonable(and they’ve even helped resize my watch for free!). I highly recommend Timekeepers and it will always be my go to for any and all watch and clock repairs.

Just came in there today to fix an old watch my wife received from her Nan before she passed away. One of the gentlemen took a look at the watch and said it’s probably some sort of spring(he used the name, but I can’t remember what it was), and that the fix was probably going to cost more than the watch was worth. I told him that was ok, since it had sentimental value, I’d pay for whatever it cost. He then took it over to his work bench for about 3 – 4 minutes, brought it back and said some of the screws had come loose from inside the watch, and it was now working. Handed it to me and smiled. I asked him how much and he said, «Nothing». Blows my mind that places like this still exist in this world. He could have charged me, but since it took just a couple mins and no parts, etc. let me out the door without paying a dime! I will definitely be coming back with my other watch that needs a band very soon!!!

This place is a no brainer! $ 5 for a battery replacement and I was in and out in under 10 minutes! Why did I ever wait so long to get my watch fixed? I must bring my other watch here too. I read in the Unilocal reviews that it was CASHONLY so I came prepared with $ 5. In and out and a happy, punctual, timekeeper later.

When I came by here for the first time a couple of days ago, I was almost deterred because there was quite a line in there and I had work in about 25 minutes. 10 minutes was enough to get through 5 customers! All I needed was to pierce an additional notch in my band, which was done free of charge! Seriously, don’t hesitate to come here. Mario works quickly, which gives him time to show off his sense of humor.

Not sure why I waited almost a year to get the batteries fixed in two watches. Stopped here and it took five minutes and cost $ 10. CASHONLY + checks Saturday morning and the line was growing as I left. These guys know what they’re doing.

I just realized I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I have been coming here since I was a little kid! We have always used them. Love these guys. I have taken every brand of watch here(except the Audmer’s) but that’s understandable. They have taken links out, replaced batteries for free in 2 seconds for 25 years! They are never too busy for a customer, even when there is a line. They are always calm and will tell you if they can’t fix something or if it’s not worth fixing. I can’t say enough about the integrity of these men and their work. Truly the best in the business. I am blessed to have them so close and available. I’ll wait for weeks until I go to Encinitas to take my watch to them.

I can’t rave enough about this long time Encinitas clock/watch shop. The Petroski’s have owned this place since I was in grade school, and the technical knowledge that they have when it comes to timepieces is unmatched. I’ve taken my Tag Heuer watch in for battery replacements many times. Some places will gouge you for $ 25 – 30, Timekeepers? Five bucks. Not only that, he asked a favor that I pay with cash since transaction fees on small purchases is so high. I didn’t have cash, so he just said he trusted me. I went back the next day to pay. It’s so awesome to see basic human civility in a business. Don’t think they just do the high end. I’ve taken a counterfeit Movado watch in for a new battery and to have links removed from the band, and they’ve happily done the work. For any watch or clock issue, forget a jeweler. Go straight into Timekeepers. You’ll save money and restore your faith in humanity.
