Established in 1991.

My daughter started going to Tutoring Club about 2.5 years ago and we’ve seen wonderful progress in her math comprehension and grades. Last year she moved to a higher level math class and has maintained that level. She never complains about going to tutoring because she says it really helps her keep up with the new math concepts she’s learning at school. While we have the skills at home to help her, we’ve found that doing the work closer to the school day, in a focused setting and with a neutral third party makes a huge difference for all of us. We get to enjoy much more peaceful family evenings and she feels successful and independent. Mario is a great manager! He’s very easy to work with an responsive to scheduling needs.

The Tutoring Club did a great job helping my 1st grader over the summer so that he started 2nd grade on the right foot. No summer back-​slide here! They helped him with his reading every week. They were flexible with our scheduled. I am continually amazed by the patience of the tutors (we worked with three of them at various times over the summer and each of them was great).
Mario did a great job of assessing where my little guy’s needs were and tailoring the curriculum to be challenging but not frustrating.
We are definitely going back next summer!

My son was struggling with 7th grade Math. His first semester grade almost gave me a heart attack! I enrolled him in the Tutoring Club in Encinitas and within a few weeks his homework grades improved along with Quiz and Test scores. It is the end of the year and I am so pleased with his Math grade. I think more importantly, my son is proud of himself for doing so well! Thank you Tutoring a Club!

My daughter is a sophomore in high school was was really struggling in her geometry class. Not to name names, but her high school is known to have a horrible math department. she started going to the Tutoring club once a week, and right away a huge light bulb went off. they were actually teaching her how to solve the problems! I can’t tell you how much this raised her confidence-​let alone her grade from a D to a high B. She’s striving for an A! That never would have happened without all the help she received at Tutoring Club. I’m most definitely going to send her there for SAT/​ACT prep next year!

My son attended The Tutoring Club in Encinitas for 2 years. Jesse (don’t know his title but he’s been there a long time & is basically a supervisor of sorts) is great & the reason we stayed so long. We also love Helen one of the tutors who is a retired teacher. We left soon after there was a change in ownership, though that wasn’t our reason for leaving. It is similar to Sylvan with a few kids to one tutor and still over $ 30 an hour. I found a private tutor for less. Overall a decent program but too expensive for not being «private».
