I have built Yogi’s Drain Service from the ground up on old fashioned principles of integrity, friendliness, solid work with attention to detail, and looking out for the customers. I really care about your interest.

I love plumbing because there are seemingly endless different problems and they all require one to develop themselves in many different ways. A true plumber is an artist, a mechanic, logical problem solver, caring humanitarian, a plumber must be physically strong and yet limber to squeeze into tight places, all these and many more attributes are required and make us well rounded individuals.(I may also add a writer now, hehe)

Yogi’s saved my house from imminent destruction. I called when I could not get the faucets upstairs to stop dripping and they sent a plumber out the very next day. He took a look and knew that the water pressure was about to blow my pipes out.
A team of plumbers descended on the house and voila!, by evening time our showers and restrooms worked again. They changed the water pressure valve regulating everything in the home as well as some internal parts in the showers. Before they fixed the upstairs shower, one hot water handle dispensed cold water and the cold one gave out hot water. One of the handles turned clockwise and the other counterclockwise, everything was discombobulated! I don’t have to give my house guests embarrassing directions on how to bathe anymore.
I was grateful that they recommended adding an automatic cutoff lever for an additional $ 50. Now even I can quickly turn things off when disaster strikes.
Yogi’s was prompt, courteous and had reasonable prices. The work was warranted too, unfortunately there was a leak where they welded things together outside my house but they came back and fixed that too!

This company is fantastic. I clogged my kitchen sink drain so badly that even snaking it and doing the two plunger trick did not work. I called 4 companies with good Unilocal ratings. Two were booked over a week out and one wanted to charge $ 55 more than Yogi’s. The receptionist at Yogi’s was so kind and friendly. They were able to get someone out right away. The guy that came out was also super friendly, knowledgeable and even showed me a trick to help unclog the drain if this happens again. I highly recommend Yogi’s!

Emiel and Justin were hands down Amazing! I called them on a Saturday and needed a water leak fixed as soon as possible. They arrived within an hour. This was probably the most complex plumbing job ever because neither of us knew where the leak was coming from. Finally, Justin arrived, which I’m pretty sure got called in on his personal day and within minutes found the leak behind my fridge. I would of never guessed it was there. There was no water to be seen on my floors or anything to show that it came from the fridge. Justin is an expert! They were super patient with me and I felt so bad for how long the job took to finish. They were super professional, super nice and I would recommend them to anybody who needs plumbing them. Thank you guys!!!

My main line was just cleaned out on a Sunday by Emeil. He arrived exactly when promised, worked hard and quickly, and his customer communication skills were awesome. Everything was left spotless and I am very pleased to write a 5 star review.

I did not have a good experience with Yogis plumbing. I had used them before and they had to come back a couple times to get it right, but they (Alex) were courteous and fair. So I felt comfortable to call them again.
Whoops. This time, I got the new guy and he even admitted he was a novice. 10 minutes into the job, he said he would need to call in for help. So Alex shows up and they run the snake and get the job done. They used a only a 75 foot snake. Alex is on the job training the new guy on my dime. So they say «it’s clear now but you may want to consider installing a clean out and running the jet because there are roots». I say how much. Alex says usually 1300 – 1500 dollars, probably 1300 for your house. He says we run the camera, dig the line and then run the jet. I agree and say ok let’s do it can I roll the $ 205 I just paid you into the job. He says «no you will have setup an appointment. You should be good for a few months with the snake»
So we run the washer the next morning less than 24 hours and now the tubs are backing up worse than the day before. I call and the dispatcher tells me they will send someone out to remedy it. He then calls me back and tells me that no one will come because I need the clean outs. I say that is fine, can we apply what I paid you yesterday towards my quoted price? He says I will check and calls me back. He calls me back and says we can do it for $ 1700 and we will throw in the camera and the Jet service. I told him Alex quoted me at $ 1300 –1500 for everything. He replied that Alex denied quoting me. I said that’s not right, you won’t stand by your WORD or your WORK. He said he will call me back. I then got this text from yogis…
«Sir this is Kris with yogis plumbing, i talked with the owner and we believe you should get another estimate on the mainline prob from another plumbing company, we appreciate your continued business but believe we are at an impass to this situation, the prices quoted too you were more than reasonable but we hope you can get it cheaper to fix your problem. Thank you and good day»
UPDATE!!!
Greg the owner reached out to me and expressed his desire to correct the situation. He came is person and extended an offer to give me a free camera inspection service. He scheduled it right away and sent his best tech and personally conducted the service.
I now know where to put clean outs for future jetting services and have a great understanding of all of my potential future plumbing issues regarding drainage.
I would like to thank Greg and Yogis plumbing for remedying the situation. It is nice to see a business that cares about customer service and reputation. I will continue to use Yogis plumbing in the future.

So in the end, they not only failed the job but they also managed to call me a liar. I paid them hard earned money for nothing. They scurried away with a tail between their legs by sending a text.

They were hired by my property manager to fix a faucet at my upscale rental home. Repair became full replacement but the damaged the enamel on the sink while repairing. Didn’t discuss the damage with the tenant, property manager or me just left. I complained the owner called said the sink was 25 years old and that’s what they needed to do to fix the faucet. The house is only 20 years old faucet is about 9 years old. Their attitude is terrible, blaming me is worse. They will never work on any of my properties again and I will recommend Apex Plumbling (Frankie) who works on my private home for higher end Plumbling issues. I did pay them (late) after they offered ZERO for leaving a 2 inch chip in my sink. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!! I added a photo white sink with giant chip

These guys were great! Called them and within a few hours Alex came by to assist with a minor plumbing issue. We were having some granite work done by another company and needed to have the faucet removed before the granite work could be done. A day later, after the granite was done, we called and Alex came back within a few hours and reinstalled the faucet. He gave a discount because the work didn’t take too long. Professional, prompt, courteous, reasonable prices. Recommend them without hesitation. Great experience.

These are hands down the best/​nicest guys I have felt with in all my years of plumbing. I wrote a review about another service when I was living in Claremont. And this guys are good. But had I known about Yogis then I would have called much sooner. Today they are coming out for a second time. Unrelated clogs and back ups on 2 different lines in the house. Thanks in larger part to good old cast iron pipes. (Yes I am being sarcastic, they are a nightmare) I had a flood situation about a week ago. I looked on Unilocal and saw the 5 stars from yogis and thought, «ok sure some of this has to be true with over 100 reviews» I am always skeptical about plumbers… Have had really terrible experiences with them in LA. Chris answered the phone and was the nicest guy. He told me everything I needed to know and had me even check a few things to see if it was worth the emergency price or if it could wait. Since it wasn’t a continued out pour of water we decided to wait. Because he informed me that it would be much cheaper if I could. He skipped his meeting and came to me first thing during regular hours. Our pipes are BAD… One opening for the drains just broke right off because we live next to the beach and the geniuses that built it used plastic with cast iron… Anyway they got the job done quick doing 2 drains fast and one was in our rental unit. Have a great price (half off the second one.)
Now a week later another issue arose and he came once again as quick as possible to talk with me about it. He have all the info we needed to know and never tried to up sell and treated me and my grandmother with great respect. They are going to do a main high pressure clean out that is much needed. In order to get the old pipes in the best condition possible for us while we decide what we want to do next. They can do the whole job of replacing the pipes if we want them to but we told him our current situation and he recommended this as a highly cost effective measures. And it is also nice that they guarantee work for 30 days… They also didn’t charge me for coming to take a look at it.
All in all the service is great, the receptionist is nice and these guys are always in call. It’s pretty cool if you ask me. I called him the first time at about 6am and he never once have any attitude and like I said just really really polite and nice.
I will report back on the dealings today. But after all the great communication no sneaky charges and amazing customer service. Do you self a favor. Call them. It will be the last time you have to worry about your pipes. Even when waiting I know that if something went bad in a hurry, he would be here to fix it. So I slept soundly.
I wish there was a super recommend on Unilocal. Also wish they had an LA branch ;) (hint hint)

These folks we’re so helpful. We had a stopped up shower drain and because our house is old it was a complicated procedure trying to find the clean out. Yogi’s did it and with great attitude and perseverance. They hung in there and even brought a supervisor in to help with matters. I highly recommend them!

I was having what I thought was a plumbing problem at my house. The dispatcher sent Alex over within 2 hours. He worked with his foreman/​the owner of the company to determine that I was not having any plumbing issues and they didn’t even charge me for their time. If I ever need plumbing services, I will absolutely call these guys!

Ok guys, imagine each one of these stars= 1 million stars. That’s how I feel about Justin Shane and Yogi’s plumbing right now.
Two days ago the tub stopped draining, the husband and I tried EVERYTHING. Purchased all types of tools, poured baking soda and vinegar… lit a candle in prayer; I mean everything. Even my husband couldn’t fix this issue and he’s got the hands of a surgeon (literally) and usually is my go-​to Mr. Fix it. His nickname is Macgyver, and for good reason. So, it looked pretty hopeless and we called a plumbing company to help us out. Not Yogi’s. The other company came out (nice guy!) but was not able to fix it after working on it for over an hour. Before he left he suggested we take out parts of the drywall upstairs and downstairs to remove the blockage from the pipes. After doing some soft crying we decided to call to get a second opinion, and that’s when we called Yogi’s. They said Justin could come out and fix things the next morning and he seemed so confident in the face of all this hopelessness. We were willing to try anything to avoid ripping our walls apart so we put our faith in him. He came out this morning right on time, and fixed it after working 15 minutes. I said, «Justin, you are a damn magician,» to which he responded, «yeah, I am.» Best money I have ever spent in my entire life. Better than lululemon pants, better than gold dusted ice cream, better than that steak from Donovans. Seriously, if you have a plumbing issue hit up Justin Shane; he’s better than steak.

I have Never dealt with a plumber with this much integrity, knowledge, and experience who is also really pleasant to deal with. I’ve been struggling with local plumbers for a year now that just can’t solve the problem. When our main sewer drain got backed up, we called Yogi’s and they were able to get to us in about 1 hour which was fantastic. Emiel showed up and swiftly took care of the issue.
