We work privately with families through the college admissions and financial aid processes. We also love doing philanthropic work in the community, so if you need help educating families, co-​workers, classmates, etc., we’d love to be a free resource.

History

Established in 2004.

Brian Safdari founded College Planning Experts in 2004 with the goal of making college affordable for families. After a tragic, career-​ending injury Brian lost his soccer scholarship prospects for college and wound up in tremendous student loan debt. It was through higher education seminars after college that he discovered an array of mistakes he had personally made when applying to college and applying for financial aid. He vowed to help others avoid his mistakes. We’ve grown from one employee to an entire team of employees who are dedicated to this cause. We all have personal stories that drive us to help families reach their higher education dreams!

Brian Safdari is the Founder and CEO of College Planning Experts. He is the leading authority on getting your child into his/​her dream school and on finding ways to pay for your child’s college costs without going broke.

After his personal experience, he decided to devote his life and career to helping parents and children learn the truth about the college planning process. He now directs families on what it takes to get accepted to a dream college, how to receive thousands of dollars in financial aid, regardless of income or assets, and how to properly fund for the cost of college without going broke.

Today, Brian has helped over 25,000 families in helping them achieve their college dreams. His clients come from afar and attend educationally diverse schools.
