Specialties
Coral Tree Café answers an increasing demand for healthy dining in a casual atmosphere. Our goal is to provide top-quality food and a comfortable ambiance with both indoor and outdoor patio seating.
All our coffees are certified organic, shade grown and fairly traded. We are infamous for our fresh roasts and grilled panini sandwiches. We also feature healthy salads, vegan-friendly menu items, and an extensive breakfast menu.
Coral Tree Café’s name was inspired by the beautiful coral trees lining San Vicente Blvd at our Brentwood location. The restaurant group is committed to the environment, our customers’ health, as well as fair trade practices, and became acknowledged as a Certified Green Restaurant in Fall of 2012!
The culinary team at Coral Tree Café is committed to sustainable food practices, buys local produce and integrates organic ingredients into the menu as often as possible.
Head of the culinary team is corporate chef, Joseph Gillard. Born on a farm and raised in an environment where fresh vegetables and home-raised livestock was at only an arms-reach, Joseph was instilled with an impression of integrity and beauty of local and seasonal food products. His passion for farm-to-table cuisine can be seen in many items that Coral Tree serves, and his vision to offer farm fresh, tasty food aligns perfectly with the healthy items served on the menu, and can be seen in many seasonal specials as well as their rotating soups of the day.
History
Established in 2002.
Coral Tree Café was established in 2002 out of a need for healthy, casual dining options in West Los Angeles. Its name was inspired by the beautiful coral trees lining San Vicente Blvd at their flagship Brentwood location. A few years after opening their first café in Brentwood, an express version of the café opened up in Westfield Century City Mall; and in 2006, Coral Tree Café opened its doors to the city of Encino. Committed to the environment, their customers’ health, as well as fair trade practices, Coral Tree Café continues to grow in the Los Angeles Community as an option for tasty, healthy, quality cuisine in a friendly, comfortable setting with outdoor seating.
