Albert is a gentleman and a competent CPA, as long as nothing out of the ordinary happens… During my few years as Albert’s client, I met two Alberts. the first was a generous and gracious man, who treated me like a father. The other was a strange, out of touch, unprofessional CPA, who never alerted me to mounting tax burdens. I was just becoming a successful person, and was not yet aware of how much you have to pay the government. I was young and implicitly trusted Albert. At the end of my first big year, Albert met with me and said, «you made a lot of money! Congratulations!» then he informed me that I owed a fortune in taxes, within 40 days! Luckily, I had not spent my profits. From that day on, I realized Albert was not watching my accounts at all. Later, when I switched to another CPA, he would not release my own files to my new CPA. He was emotionally volatile and seemed to take everything personally. He did not take my calls. Did not return the calls of my new CPA. Made it very difficult to transition. There are two very different sides to this man… I earnestly recommend against hiring this Jekyll and Hyde.
