Fantastic experience with Daniella! I’ve never had a relaxing & gentle but effective blow out in my life. The best was all the compliments for my glam hair from workers & patrons alike. I will definitely be back to feel like a beautiful mermaid again.

I love dry bar. I go anytime there is an event. I have very thick hair, so I love the set price. I normally go to the one I studio city; however, they did not have an appointment.
So I decided to try this one. I loved the girl who did my hair. She was very friendly and talking, and I loved that, but my hair was nothing like the Cosmo Mai Thai mixture. That was a bit disappointing. I didn’t ask her to fix it because she already had take an hour and half on my hair. I also told her I needed it to last as long as possible because I was graduating from college at 3. By 12 my hair was barely curled. It had lots of volume, but no curls.
Now on too what really disappointed me. Right when I get there the receptionist asked me what I wanted to drink. I asked for coffee. She said sure thing, but then I never got it. I asked for it again after my hair wash, and I got it but the glass was dirty. There was still lipstick on it from another person. I was disgusted and decided not to get another glass because idk who washes them.
I was bummed at my experience because this one has great reviews, but it wasn’t great for me

This review is definitely overdue. But better late than never! I visited to get blown out for a wedding. Ruby was my stylist and she was AMAZING. I had been to this location twice before. The most recent prior visit wasn’t so great, but I was in need and hoped for the best. Ruby was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her. I notified her that I had a sensitive scalp and she magically brush my hair out painlessly after washing it with their awesome detangled (that I ended up purchasing and use on myself and my kids). She was friendly and educated me on the different brushes, different size irons and products. I could tell by the way she spoke she was really passionate about what she did and enjoyed it. And she was VERY knowledgable. Thank you, Ruby, for an amazing visit and amazing hairstyle. You did a great job!

Came back again n this time the curls were left in Bobby pins up until the event. I looked like a doll. Thanks! Still friendly, accommodating, bright, and energetic environment.

Stylists have always been great, but I can’t get over the fact that this place doesn’t have their liquor license. I often pick other locations over this one, just because of reason. No mimosas allowed here :(

I have never left drybar feeling disappointed about how my hair looks and that’s saying a lot considering I have frizzy, curly hair. *Special shoutout to Jamie who gave me the most beautiful blow out on my bday back in December! They have a ton of products available for sale also. I love the idea of a quick stop salon that delivers awesome blow outs for a flat rate, regardless of how unruly or long your hair is. I really don’t know what I did before drybar came into existence so thank you hair gods!

I’ve been here 4 times and so far so good. I’ve had a variety of stylists, some better than others, but they are all trained to do the DryBar blowouts the same way. I’ve had good shampoo massages and I’ve had blaaa ones. I’m still trying to try out random stylist to see who I like best so I can keep going back to her.
The products all smell so good and I’ve purchased the dry shampoo, dry conditioner, and Triple Sec so far. Love them all. I like to add Triple Sec to my hair before curling so my hair has texture and helps makes the curls stay. I also have the stylists double lather my hair so my blowout lasts longer. The longest I can go with my blowout is 5 to 6 days. Blowouts are pricy, but I try to think of it as spending $ 10 a day on fabulous hair. I’m so addicted that I also purchased a membership. Lol.
I particularly like this location better than Studio City and Topanga because of the abundance of parking available. Thank God for that.

I go here because this is the Drybar nearest my home and I have had a good experience here. Unfortunately I have had a few times leaving and my hair immediately flopped, straightened out… what a bummer. The two other Drybars I have been to always have had great results that lasted, regardless of weather, including rain and 85% humidity. I prefer Westlake or Topanga locations. I will continue to go to this location when needed.

Just came in to purchase a curling iron, a round brush and some heat protectant products and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Answered all my questions since I am a dummy when it comes to hair styling (especially when I’m trying to do it myself) so I will be back on those special occasions when I need my hair done!

I have bought drybar products at Sephora and I loved them and I really wanted to have the experience of getting a blow out at this place, today finally I had the chance to come in and have a Cosmo and I loved it! The staff is really friendly and Lilliana took great care of my, the ambiance is nice and I love the concept, I definitely will come back when I visit the area!

I came in last night for a blowout because I needed my hair looking good for a wedding that was today. As soon as I arrived I was kindly greeted by the girls at the front desk and was offered refreshments. My appointment started on time and I was taken to the washing station by Ruby who was my stylist for the night.
I expressed my concern about the style I needed and that it was very important that it would last overnight while I slept as well as today for the event. She shared very helpful tips and I purchased a shower cap because she recommended I sleep in one. I was a little apprehensive at first, but it did keep my style in place. All I had to do in the morning was shake out my hair and voila!
I’m very pleased with my first experience here at Drybar and I will return for future blowouts.

Loved my blowout by Lilliana. She was such a sweet girl. I will definitely be asking for her the next time I make an appointment.
The salon was super chic and elegant. The wash sink was uncomfortable though. My neck was killing me and I couldn’t wait for her to be done with the shampoo. In addition I would have liked a new dry towel over my shoulders after the wash. I had a wet towel on my shoulders until she was ready to blow-​dry the back section of my hair.
Overall great experience!

Perfect for a little pick me up. A good blow out will make any girl feel their best. This place was chic, quick, and affordable. Easy to book an appointment. They wash and blow so come as you are and let them handle it. I have a lot of hair, naturally curly, thick, and long. The girl who worked on me was thorough about my blow out, a lot of times I don’t even bother getting my hair styled because on a hot summer day like we’ve been having lately it only lasts me a few hours before a poof up like a poodle. Lol. But she did a really good job! It lasted me a few days and the volume I asked for held up well all day! I’ll definitely be returning, parking around back is always a plus, and so is the complimentary mimosa! Haha.

Was really looking forward to trying this place out. I’ve heard about their strict policy about being late so when I realized I was stuck in Friday traffic and going to be there a few minutes late I searched for a number to call to let them know. I don’t know why it was like rocket science to get through to a person at the Encino location but I couldn’t — frustrating.
I rushed in 7 minutes after my appointment and the girls at the front desk looked at me as if I was in the wrong building. Mind you — there was no one else waiting and only one other customer getting a blowout — give me a break ladies. They offered me water which was nice, but was expecting more options.
My stylist was nice enough — didn’t really give me any suggestions or much time to think about what I wanted, but he did a good job. Maybe would have had a better experience if I didn’t feel so rushed.
The décor is pretty and booking online is easy and convenient.

I have been to this location over 10 times already and I have yet to find a decent consistency in the way they do my hair, they are very friendly and I sometimes really like my hair or I really don’t …

The morning of my college graduation I wanted to get my hair done and I was able to make an appointment over the phone before they even opened! I got the first appointment available and had a wonderful first experience!
When I walked in, the receptionist was very kind and offered me something to drink along with some cookies. Once they were ready for me, the hairstylist came and called my name and took me to the back to wash my hair. The washing stations were so comfortable… I was amazed! You barely even have to tilt your head backwards. My hairstylist was very kind and put wonderfully smelling hair products in my hair. My hair smelled good for 2 whole days!
Overall, I had a great experience at Drybar Encino… OH and my hair turned out really pretty too!

I’m pretty upset with this place.
My friend got me a gift certificate and I have really short hair; not much to «blow-​out.»
But as I looked in my wallet to fish out some money to get a cheap lunch with today, I found I was broke. And starving. But I had this giftcard.
So I called Drybar Encino, and told them my story, as embarrassing as it was to admit that I am so poor that I need to cash out this useless giftcard.
They refused to help me out.
In this day and age, not everyone struggles int he same way. Rich companies that aren’t willing to lend a hand to help someone, are absolute tyrants. They have zero community-​spirit.
Here I am trying to be resourceful, and I get shut-​down.
This store doesn’t really care about you.
They just want your money.
They are incapable of making a basic, common-​sense, human decision.
If I ever do grow out my hair, I will NEVER support this company.
I suggest you do the same.

I’m fairly disappointed. The first time I came here they made a mistake on my appointment time and told me to come back in 30 min to get me in earlier. I came back at the time they told me to and a new receptionist told me that they couldn’t get me in till the mistaken time. So make sure they send you a confirmation email on the date and time in case they make a mistake. However my hairdresser Christine did an amazing job on my hair when I showed her a picture of what I wanted she gave me exactly that. A lot of volume and i got so many compliments !
However my second time coming in I was assigned to a new hair dresser. I showed her the same picture as I showed Christine and clearly expressed what I wanted. A lot of volume just as I had told Christine. What I got was hardly any volume. It’s flat and there’s hardly any curls. I’m contemplating whether or not I should just do my hair myself. It was just not what I had shown and explained to her what I wanted. I’m not happy with spending $ 50 on something that was not done right and took less time to do than the first time initially. It looks horrible and I’m certainly an unsatisfied customer! I wasted $ 50 on flat hair. My bangs are flat and my hair has too much product in it.
I don’t know if I’d come back again. If I do it’s because my regular hairdresser doesn’t work Sunday’s and Id make sure to ask specifically for Christine if I come here.

I hate not being able to give more stars.
I loved the gal who did my hair. I loved how comfortable the washing stations are. I loved the smell of the products. I loved how I looked when she was done styling my hair.
I think they have an issue with static electricity. The moment I walked out the door and ran my hand though my hair, the static made my hair fly all about and then my hair went FLAT. Curls gone, bangs flat in face. WTF, thanks universe!!!
I think this could be controlled with special floor mats or a product?
My hair is shiny, smells good, but lost its style 5 minutes after I walked out the door. I wouldn’t pay another $ 50 for that.
I was back last Saturday after they generously offered me a complimentary blow out. My hair looked wonderful and I couldn’t be happier!!!

It was fun and everyone was very nice, but my hair went flat within 20 minutes. The price was way too high to not have my hair last at least a few hours.
My best friend and I went to Encino Drybar the day of her bridal shower. I think the price is high but I don’t usually get blow outs and this was a special occasion. Both of us have long straight hair and we wanted some nice curls and volume for her shower. I told my stylist that my hair is naturally straight and has a hard time holding a curl. I asked her to put extra product in so that it would stay till the shower. She agreed and was very reassuring that she knew how to handle my hair type. She barely put any product or hairspray in my hair in the end and she told me to not touch my hair so that it would stay. I left feeling worried to move my head as I didn’t want to mess up my hair.
Before we even arrived at the bridal shower my hair was already flat and back to its original straightness. It didn’t even have any volume. My best friends hair lasted a little longer than mine, hers at least had a little volume when we got there. Her hair went flat after only 45 minutes of getting it done.
I treated my best friend as a shower gift and I ended up spending over $ 100 for the two of us. I was disappointed in my hair but I was more upset that my gift to my best friend wasn’t even good, she didn’t get to have the hair style she wanted for her bridal shower. If I had known that our hair would be flat within an hour I would have much rather taken her to get a massage or something and do our hair ourselves. I don’t see myself trying Drybar again. I’m disappointed and I feel like I waisted my money.
