History

Established in 1989.

Floor Concepts was established in 1989 by my loving parents Nadya and Hagop Kalfa. I joined the family business in 1996 after a few years in the Advertising world. Luckily I inherited my Mothers passion for clean design and space planning. I truly enjoy guiding our clients through all the different design options that will meet their lifestyle and budgetary needs.

Excellent customer service and product knowledge. Ari and his team are wonderful to work with. Very patient, careful and they do extremely high quality work. They were responsive to any questions I had and really took great care of me from the moment I walked in their door to inquire about flooring until completion of the job. Ari is fantastic! After calling & visiting multiple places on the Westside and in the Valley, my husband & I decided to go with Ari & Floor Concepts to install our sisal staircase runner. Ari was very friendly & helpful, and his price was very competitive. His quote over the phone was almost exactly what the final cost was. He also let us take the binder of samples home to see how they would fit with our wood floors. Our staircase has several landings which makes it quite tricky to install the runners in a continuous line, but his installer really took his time to cut each piece to ensure that the lines remained continuous & straight throughout the entire staircase. We even had Ari make us a matching 13′ runner for our hallway to match the staircase runner. Needless to say, we were very pleased with the work, and would recommend Floor Concepts!

I am so pleased with Floor Concepts and owner Ari. They have a great selection and very fair prices on quality flooring. Ari was extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. Even though my order was small, he called his suppliers to track down a special tool for me. He delivered everything on time, and his prices were lower than larger companies for the identical flooring and materials.
