Fond of Cake

It was a week and a half before my 30^th bday and I decided to throw a last minute party for 50 of my closest family and friends. Everything was falling in to place but a cake vendor was desperately needed. My bf started to scout Unilocal for some help and happened to contact Jennifer the same day I did. He was planning on initially surprising me with a cake but I being a control freak did some research as well. Super sweet of her to inform him that it probably wouldn’t be a surprise since I emailed her as well. Good try babe! Haha!
Anyways, once I provided Jennifer with some information such as cake flavors, ideas and photos of the cake I wanted her to recreate, she was on it. I def had a budget in mind and there were aspects of the cake I had to sacrifice in order to stay on budget. Jennifer was sooo accommodating and gave great ideas for me to still keep the aesthetics of the cake. I had an Alice in Wonderland theme and provided a sample of the cake. I cannot begin to describe how happy I was when the cake was delivered by her personally. It was def the centerpiece of the party and I received nothing compliments on how the cake looked but more importantly how the cake tasted. I mean, having an awesome looking cake is nice and all but taste does matter.
Jennifer communicated via email and was always great about responding in a timely manner. She def made it a breeze and one aspect of my party I didn’t have to worry about.
Fond of Cakes is definitely a business I would reach out to again in the future.

I sent in an email request for a cake and never heard back from them. This is particularly annoying because they’re by appointment only — so it’s not as if I could just drop in and speak to someone.
Loved that they offer gluten free options (but so do many other bakeries in the valley), I just wish they offered customer service to go with it.

We used this baker for a baby shower cake and had found her on Unilocal.The cake was beautiful and flawless. She did a bird with 2 eggs and a nest and it was very sweet.
Almost every guest commented how cute it was and how DELICIOUS it was too! The strawberry filling she used was nothing short of divine!
I will definitely use Fond of Cake in the future!

Birthday girl was so happy when the waiter brought out the cake. Everyone just said wow! What an amazing and great tasting cake. Everyone from my party was asking where I had it made. Wonderful Jennifer from Fond Of Cake is the place. There is no other place at-​least for me!

So Impressed w/​Fond of Cake design and promptness to respond to my late request. Everyone at the party was complimenting my boy’s 1^st birthday cake! delicious and creative, I recommend to anyone that wants a «Cake Boss» type of cake design we found our local place.

Just received an order of the new seasonal favorite. Pumpkin cupcakes. So delicious. Yummy! I’m gonna eat the whole box. Definitely recommend ordering some.

Jennifer made an awesome cake for my sketch comedy show’s Première Party. She hand-​cut our really complicated logo out of fondant and recreated it perfectly. It looked amazing, and tasted great too! She also made these gluten-​free apple cinnamon cupcakes that were insane. Thanks Jen!

We had Jennifer make a cake for our daughter’s 10^th birthday. She took the time to ask my daughter her favorite colors and what theme she wanted for the cake. My daughter was looking forward to the cake more than anything else. The cake was beautiful and tasty! All our friends commented on the georgeous cake, and want one for their kids and special occassions. Thank you Jennifer for making my daughter’s birthday special!

BEAUTIFUL! Fond of Cake designed a custom and incredibly beautiful cake for an event we produced for the Wounded Warrior Project in Hollywood a few weeks ago. All our guests raved about the gorgeous cake and couldn’t get enough of their delicious cupcakes. Thank you so much!!!

Amazing Cake… wow, I give Jennifer and Fond of Cake a solid 5 star review. The cake was better looking than we expected and a huge hit at our daughters 7^th birthday party. Jennifer was reliable and very helpful with ideas for us. Four or five families grabbed her card at our party and said they will use her as the cake was unbelievable. Thank you Jennifer, we will be using your company for our other daughters party here in a few months too!

Jennifer is creative, talented, kind and so sweet! She is amazing at what she does. She created a Katy Perry cake for my daughter’s bday and everyone loved it, especially my daughter! I would highly reccomend her to anyone.

These cakes are AMAZING!!! I had Fond of Cake make me a midlife crisis cake for my husband’s 40^th Birthday. She made me a red Ferrari with a man and blond with big boobs. The detail was incredible and the cookie cake was delicious. By far the hit of the party. She is incredibly creative and can design whatever you like. I would recommend Fond of Cake to anyone, anytime… and I will use her for all my cakes from now on!

Absolultely amazing! My sister and her now husband had the most delicious and beautiful wedding cake. Multiple teirs, elegant yet country chic all at the same time which was perfect for their cowboy country themed wedding. I was lucky enough to then experience another cake created by Fond of Cake shortly after for my niece’s 5^th birthday, Little Pony themed and the cake could not have been better. Detail, quality and taste is not something that usually can all be met when it comes to cake but Fond of Cakes definitely takes the cake on making them all happen. Highly recommend for any event you are looking to have a yummy cake that will be talked about even after the event is over!

Amazing. She created a stunning cake for my daughters 5^th birthday which was both visually perfect and tasted as good as it looked. My daughter and her 75+ guests were at ah! with the attention to detail in the My Little Pony themed cake.
I would/​I will continue to use them for all future events.

Absolutely amazing! Had a custom Spiderman cake made for my daugters 4^th birthday. Not only did she deliver on spiderman but the added custom bits and pieces were our of this world!

There is not a birthday party in our family without Jennifer’s amazing cake. It is priceless to see the face of a birthday kid who gets a cake of his/​her favorite theme. And if you have kids you know that every year it is something new:) so… with two kids and changing preferences we have ordered and enjoyed many unique and delicious cakes from Fond of Cake. Thank you Jennifer for making each party so special! By the way, my youngest calls you a «cake artist» and I could not agree with him more.

Jennifers cakes are not only delicious, but SO amazingly adorable! She puts so much time and talent into everything she makes and I LOVED my cake she did for my baby shower. She is so talented!
