Just had my first visit after a recommendation from a co-​worker. Usually don’t write reviews but Dr. Marcarian and his staff deserve the 5 stars. Extremely friendly and helpful, and never felt rushed by the doctor. Definitely recommend.

No questions asked… The best dentist in town!!! The staff is fantastic, friendly and so nice to talk to. Dr. Marcarian is very knowledgable and has much patience with you. Definitely recommend. :)

If I could give this man and his staff more than 5 stars I would. Super friendly staff. Makes you feel very at home. They try their best to accommodate your needs. They go above and beyond with their work. It may be a bit pricey but the quality of work you won’t be anything less than amazed. I had braces done here, along with cleanings, fills you name it. I’ve also sent my family here and they are equally as impressed and happy with their results. Definitely a keeper for a dentist

Im going to make it very short and to the point, we (family) have been going to Dr. Marcarian for past 15 yrs, he is the best and honest dentist in SFV, and a great gentelman, if you meet him and talk to him you will know how nice he is and when your visit ends you will remember my review. we are greatful to have him in our lives.

My family and I have known Dr. Gevik Marcarian for the last 10 years, going back to his Encino office. While traveling from Glendale to Encino to see Dr. Marcarian was always a challenge because of time restraints on our part and of course the traffic on the 101 Fwy, we never hesitated to do so given his work ethics, the professional approach and the knowledge.
It goes without saying that his staff in both, the Encino office as well as in Burbank office, too are very professional and are always there to assist with a smile on their face. Definitely the best and the most professional dental offices by far!!!

My family has been seeing Dr. Marcarian for nearly four years. We moved out of the Valley in 2011 and while my husband kept make the drive to see Dr. Marcarian, I decided to find a local dentist. Such a mistake! I now make the 45 – 60 minute drive twice a year for my cleanings and check ups. The staff is fantastic. They validate parking. The office is clean and comfortable. Dr. Marcarian has a great chair-​side manner. I recently had my 3 ½ year old have his first check up & cleaning. The dental hygienist who cleaned his teeth was truly amazing with him. She managed to get him to lay still for the entire process. He even let her floss his teeth. No small feet, my soon is not the sit still type. We will keep Mr. Marcarian as our dentist as long as we live within driving distance.

First off I’s like to say that he is the best dentist I have ever been to. I went into his office and they called me in right on time of my appointment. It was a vary clean and spacious office and room. All the staff there were amazing!
I went in for a gingivectomy, and I am so happy I chose Dr. Marcarian for this procedure. I am extremely satisfied with the work he did on my teeth. Before I had a gummy smile, I was very self conscious of it, and now I am in love with my new smile. Almost halfway into the procedure he showed me what he had done, and I just broke down in tears of joy, literally tears of joy was rolling down my face as he was continuing with the rest. I LOVE the way it looks now!!!
He is a very kind, funny and a friendly man. Prior to my procedure date, at my consultation he was very informational. He took is time and explained everything and didn’t rush through it at all.
I also would like to mention that I have never in my life experienced a dentist numbing my gums the way he did. I DID NOT FEEL A THING THE WHOLE TIME!!! From start to finish. He took his time slowly giving the numbing solution one section at a time. HE IS THE BEST!!! I defiantly recommend anyone with any kind of dental work to go to Dr. Marcarian!!!

I found Dr. Marcarian via Unilocal reviews when I first moved into the Valley from Hollywood. and boy I am SOOO happy! This is the BEST Dr., Office, Staff ever!
I go to the Encino office and the staff from when you call them on the phone to when you are in the chair are genuinely sweet, hip, and know what they are doing. Dr. Marcarian explains to you any procedure, calls you back personally to check how you’re doing and is painless! I’ve gotten an implant, an emergency extraction (when I was 3 months pregnant) and normal deep cleanings and every procedure was painless and done very well! I plan to bring my new daughter in. and would definitely recommend coming to Dr. Marcarian’s office!

A. Common sense.
Nobody likes going to the dentist. Though they speak soothingly to you as you’re waiting in the chair, it’s impossible not to eye the arsenal of sharp implements they lay out on their tiny sterilized table with horror. So, if you are like I am, and you experience a tiny wave of terror every time you think of going to the dentist, I recommend you go see Dr. Marcarian.
After decades of seeing the same dentist (and a few years of feeling as though I wasn’t receiving their best care), I decided to make the switch to Dr. Marcarian, and it was the best decision I could have made for my dental health. Now, not only do I see him, but my best friend and boyfriend do as well!
The waiting room is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Overstuffed chairs and couches provide plenty of sitting room, so if there’s a wait, you are able to wait in comfort. The reception area is set up so that there is a low bar separating you from the back rooms, but it’s possible to see the receptionist and technicians at all times; a nice distinction from being shut off from everyone and everything in the back at other doctors’ offices.
The staff is friendly and informative. They do their best to accommodate your schedule without hassle or resentment, and the hygienists are great at setting even the most nervous patient’s mind at ease.
Dr. Marcarian himself is wonderful. He is gentle, kind, and easygoing, quick with a joke and ready to engage his patients. That’s not to say anything of his experience and professionalism; in particular, I have found that he is incredibly thorough, not only with his explanations and descriptions of procedures, but in his walk-​through when he is attending to patients directly. It’s such a relief to know when and what to expect in the next step in what a dentist is doing.
Don’t let my review be the only one that sways you; though there are few reviews on here for Dr. Marcarian, I promise that every bit of praise he’s received is well-​earned.

I had to get fillings replaced this morning, and was a little nervous. It has been years since I’ve had to have «work» done on my teeth besides the typical cleaning.
Dr. Marcarian and Steve were great! He was patient, too his time and walked me through each step of the way. I have to have my right side done and I will definitely not be as nervous as I was going into my appointment today.
No one really enjoys going to the dentist, but at least they make it as easy and pleasant as possible. My husband is a patient of his and is just as impressed.

Wow!!! The best dentist. He really cares for his patients. This is a classy operation. He is doing implants for me and he had to remove two bad teeth that my previous dentist screwed up. He was so gentle and smooth that I did not feel the shots he gave me. I did not even have to take pain medications after. It sounds unbelievable but its true. I am a real client:)
I had several appointments with him so far and I never had to wait in some waiting room for a long time before being seen. His prices are reasonable too:)
«Do your self a favor and go to him». I wish I had known about him before I went to my previous dentist. His assistance is also very good. They make a great team. These guys know what they are doing. They are like a perfect symphony. The rest of the staff is also very professional.

Dr. Marcarian is the BEST. So sweet and professional. Really puts you at ease and makes you laugh. I managed to go 25 years without a cavity and so was a little nervous when it was time for my first filling. From the moment I walked in though, Dr. Marcarian put a smile on my face with his great sense of humor. He talked me through every step of the process and the whole thing was quick and painless. He’s on time, knows what he’s talking about, and is everything you’d want in a dentist!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Marcarian and his entire support staff! When I made a recent move to Encino, finding a new dentist was one of the tasks I dreaded most. I am so thankful to have found this office. In addition to being an extremely skilled dentist, he is a warm and funny man who strives to ensure his patients are comfortable and happy. I appreciate that he never makes me feel rushed, and spends as much time as needed to ensure I understand the procedure at hand as well as the options available to me.
I recently had a veneer pop off (that had been placed by a different dentist over 10 years ago), and Dr. Marcarian came to my rescue to fix it that very morning. I was in tears when I arrived, but within minutes he had me laughing and out the door with my veneer back in place.
Like others have noted, I’ve also had Dr. Marcarian call to check on me himself. I’ve gone to many other dentists in the past, and I’ve never received that level of service before. To find a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients is very rare, in my opinion.
I recommend this office and Dr. Marcarian without hesitation. You would be hard pressed to find a more caring office staff or a more talented dentist.

Amazing! Best dentist ever and I would know because sadly I’ve been to many. He really cares and on a few occasions has called me to check up on a recent visit or just to answer questions. The staff is friendly, educated and so helpful. I’ve recommended a few friends to him and they are all in love. An absolute must!!! I swear you won’t regret it :)

I was born with an unfortunate condition commonly known as being «tongue-​tied.» The frenulum, or that skin under the tongue, naturally extends all the way to the tip, making my tongue basically useless for speech and other, um, activities. I’d gotten it cut before, but it grew back, so I decided to look into the magic of laser lingual frenectomies.
If you’re tongue-​tied and need to be shot in the mouth with a laser, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Mercarian more. The procedure was comfortable, quick, and the Doc even called me later to see how I was doing. The prices were sane; as a patient, I’m always trying to find that perfect marriage between reasonable prices and top-​notch care. I’d rather pay more for great work, but here, I didn’t have to.
If you hate the dentist because of the stuffy/​scary atmosphere, look no further; «the doc» has an excellent sense of humor. I’m not the type of person who relaxes to dolphin pictures and guided meditation. I need to make a joke. I need to be treated like the intelligent, youth-​ey, humor-​hungry gal I am. Dr. Mercarian and his adorable assistant Stephen were like the dental versions of Stewart and Colbert. I’ve never felt more comfortable at a dentist’s office.

I’m especially picky when it comes to my teeth. And in LA when there seems to be a dentist around every corner, that’s not always a good sign. I’ve literally walked out of some dental offices just because it didn’t feel right or they or their front office isn’t welcoming. Dr. Marcarian is a diamond in the rough and let me tell you why.
After doing some research on dentists with water laser drills in LA (there aren’t many) and then cross referencing it with Unilocal,Dr. Marcarian’s name came up with very high marks. Water lasers are so so much better than conventional drills for many reasons; mainly due to no friction and horrid noise. His website further corroborated this fact, literally brimming with the latest technology. So I decided to call and schedule an appointment. I’m well aware the initial phone call is your first impression of how everything else will usually go. What happened next is something else… HE actually answered the phone himself. Sure he has an amazing, dedicated staff (more on them later) but by him answering the phone told me it ISN’T beneath him. Really? Humility in LA? Does that even exsist?! At his office it does. After hearing him pick up literally impressed me so I was already sold. He normally doesn’t field calls, but his staff was a bit busy and he cares enough about his patients that he’ll take calls when needed. LOVE that.
The building is nice, the parking is garaged and validated, and his front office is beautiful. All his staff are young go-​getters from his highly professional hygienist (Roel) to the friendly and conversational assistants (Steve & Myly) to his warm and thorough front office manager…(Lyndi) they’re all top notch. I even heard stories of some of their patients flying in to just come in for a cleaning… I believe it. I could go on and on, but truly Dr. Marcarian gave me THE BEST dental experience I’ve received. Period. I look forward to being a patient of his for a long time to come.

Usually going to the dentist is painful and difficult, but at Dr. Marcarian, it’s easy and very pleasant. His staff is organized, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. (Lindy and Stephen are amazing!)
His office is nicely decorated, he has all the modern bells and whistles for examining your teeth PLUS they have evening and Saturday hours, so making an appointment is easy.

I would never trust my pearly whites to anyone else other than Dr. Marcarian and his staff. It was hard for me to trust another dentist after a horrible experience I had with a previous dental visit before becoming Dr. Marcarian’s patient. I had just moved in the area and went to one that was nearby. Needless to say, I never went back to that dentist.
I found Dr. Marcarian back when he was working at a dental group office located in Reseda. He opened his own location and I decided I was going to follow him wherever he went. I’ve been a patient of his for about 8 years now. I’ve come to know his staff, who are very friendly. My hygenist, Roy, is gentle and thorough when cleaning my teeth. My experiences at this dental office have been anything but horrific. There has not been one instance where I was given less than satisfactory care. Dr. Marcarian is very skilled in what he does, and uses up-​to-​date technology. His work is amazing!
And for those who don’t have insurance, they accept a payment plan through Care Credit.
