This man misrepresents his areas of expertise. Beware. I was referred to him by the San Fernando Valley Bar Assn as being an expert in construction/​contract law. He is not. I met with him on August 26 and fired him on September 13. In that time, his lack of response to emails caused me to have to write many times in an effort to get a response. I sent him an offer by opposing counsel and he never even wrote to opposing counsel telling him of his representation of me. He wrote two letters to one insurance company regarding two corporations, which if he had been an expert, he would have known they were not involved and it was unnecessary to write to them. They were the type of letters a secretary usually writes. I was forced to go to arbitration over his fee and an award was made in my favor. The award was sent out on April 9 and ordered payment to be made «forwith». It is now April 21 and I have not received one red cent. He was unable to attend the hearing and should have known of the form to fill out which is on the San Fernando Valley Bar’s website, but instead he chose to send an email setting forth his inability to appear at the time of the hearing and submitting his argument on the notes he had submitted. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HIM AS YOU CAN.
